Vice and Emi made it outside. Emi was happy to breathe fresh air again. She was disappointed that she didn't grab more blueprints to memorize when she had the chance but she got some great ideas from those she did.
"That was amazing. How did that work Vice never seen a teleportation spell work before."
"It was specifically made. It was to be activated when resonance between master and Makaizer was achieved."
"Does that mean location wasn't a factor we just had to be on the same wavelength then?"
"Correct."
Emi was intrigued. Even if she wasn't at the school she would have been sent to Vice regardless, 'but wait, if that was going to happen how come I wasn't sent to him earlier? Was something different now than then?'
Emi was lost in her thoughts, till she remembered something important.
"Crap! I forgot, there's still a Strayer roaming around here."
"A Strayer? Are they still alive here, now, in this era?" Emi was surprised. The Strayers were not found out till the massacre that happened to her home and others.
"Vice, what do you mean by that? Were they around in your time?"
"Yes, they are an abomination. Bastard children of The Iscariot."
Emi wanted to ask more. But from the tone of Vice's voice, she could feel hate coming from it.
Truthfully no one knew where the Strayers come from. They just appeared out of nowhere, they're name was only discovered because Pope Barcus called them that. Emi's curiosity grew more. There was definitely more going on than she realized.
"Where is it."
"Huh?"
"The Strayer. We're is it."
"I don't know. It dragged me from the school out here. I got away from it before it could hurt me."
Vice's aura gave the air of more rage. Emi was not sure what about them made him so angry. Vice scanned the area, his senses found the Strayer, he started running in its direction like a predator after running prey.
Emi was shocked, she wanted to chase after him, she looked down at her bare feet before deciding to run to him.
Emi's feet took off, her body rushed at an incredible speed she never had before. The level up she gained, her stats increasing, pit paid off in full. She was fast enough to catch up to Vice, her hands holding her towel tight so she wouldn't accidentally run naked chasing after him.
Emi finally caught up, she tried to catch her breath, even though her body was stronger now she wasn't adjusted to it yet.
Emi could see Vice standing before the Strayer. His fist tightened at the sight of it. Vice must have remembered them, nothing would have that much hate for another if they had forgotten them.
"You're still here, you're still here, YOU'RE STILL HERE!!!!" Vice shouted with intense rage. His golden eyes glowed bright red. The red eye Emi received glowed as well. It felt like a sharp pain. She could feel his rage, the hate, even the sorrow in him.
A black sphere formed in Vice's hand, Vice reached in and pulled out a weapon. It looked like a long sword, the blade was made from a bone, a jawbone from a monster from the few remaining teeth in it. The hilt, handle, and pummel were made with ivory and leather. Emi never saw a sword like that.
"Weapon identified. Weapon; The First Blade. Godslayer class item. A sword made from the bone of the First Beast. Skills: can copy the abilities of any weapon it comes into contact with. A minimum of 7 abilities can be copied. Finishing move: Death Slash."
Vice charged forward, he slashed the Strayer with an upper strike, parts and fuel from its body spraying in the air. Vice continued to viciously slice it, Emi had never seen a Makaizer attack another being as violently as that. It tried to attack Vice back, but it was in vain. A weak machine against the Harbinger of Cain, it was like watching a deer trying to fight a lion, with no chance of winning at all.
The Strayer fell to the ground, its battered head twitching, looking at Vice. Vice raised his sword up to deliver the killing blow, "Sinner is Judged!"
Vice struck downward. The head of the Strayer with destroyed. Emi saw it's life leave before her eyes.
Emi felt something in her, a feeling she never had. It wasn't fear of what Vice did. Nor sadness about him killing the Strayer. The feeling she had, was similar to happiness, a warm feeling in her body that made her heart flutter. She couldn't see it unless a mirror was in front of her. The expression on her face had the most wicked and yet beautiful smile on it.
