Chương 66: Date Night

With the day winding down I couldn't help but sigh as I looked at the clock. I had an hour to get to the restaurant Alexander had chosen for our date. 

It wasn't that far from here but I wanted to change.

Only Lex and Cassandra remained in the office, my guess was that they had plans for tonight and I was genuinely happy for them.

My cousin hadn't announced Cassandra's transfer yet, but I saw Cassandra handing Marc additional work, work he wouldn't normally be assigned. 

When he asked why, she simply said she was overloaded. He accepted her answer and took the tasks as an opportunity to impress the boss. 

"I'm gonna go change then leave," I told Cassandra as I picked up my bag. 

"Hot date?" she teased.

"Something like that," I said with a grin. "I just hope he isn't hot headed tonight."

At first Cassandra laughed with me, but then she suddenly stopped and covered her lips.
