"You guys let me go, I'll see this to the end today!" Shen Xia howled as he tried to break off of the guys holding onto him, not paying attention to the blood trickling down from his nose. Apparently, he got punched by Jiao Zhan a few times due to his sudden barging in and attacking him. While his henchmen liked to show off to the other students, they didn't dare to go up alone against a monster like Jiao Zhan without a backing like Shen Xia.

 "Get up, Yunxian. Look at you getting beaten and messed up like this, I really shouldn't leave you alone for even a moment…" Jiao Zhan paid no attention to their grumblings as he turned around, helping Bai Yunxian to stand up along with Yun Xiao's help, who held the other side.

The blood stenches on his clothes were proof of how badly he got hurt. However, Bai Yunxian tried to smile at his friend faintly, replying in a weak voice, "This is nothing."
