Chương 7: dropped

The concept of the Black Coin, the currency of the Black Market, lingered in my mind like a tantalizing problem. It was an exceedingly rare form of currency, practically unattainable for someone like me who had never even glimpsed the inner workings of the Black Market. The idea of acquiring a Black Coin seemed like an insurmountable challenge, but it was also the only ticket I had to gaining entry.

"Oh boy..."

A plan began to form in my mind, one that sent a shiver down my spine. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks: the only way to obtain a Black Coin was through a robbery.

The troubling part was that my initial reaction wasn't one of guilt or remorse, but rather a twisted sense of excitement. When had I become so morally compromised?

But then again, perhaps I could justify it as a necessary evil for the greater good. After all, the fate of the world seemed to hang in the balance.
