Shiller looked helplessly at Selina perched atop the telegraph pole, he asked, "Why don't you come down? Am I that frightening?"

Selina stared at his face as if to say, "Don't you know yourself?"

Shiller had no choice but to knock on the telegraph pole with his umbrella, saying, "Even if you haven't been to school, you should know that climbing over the school wall is against the rules. What are you doing here?"

"I...I..." Selina stuttered, and then said, "I'm here to find someone."

"Find someone? Who?...Oh, Bruce? Then why didn't you use the main entrance?"

Shiller sighed, looked up at her and said: "Of course you can use the main entrance, you're not a mob member, nor a fugitive. Nobody can stop you from visiting your boyfriend in the school."

Shiller turned and walked away, saying as he went, "If you like staying up there, then by all means, stay. It's going to rain soon anyway"

Only a few minutes after Shiller left did Selina hesitantly look into the school and slowly slid down from the telegraph pole. She couldn't believe that the professor was so easygoing.

Selina thought for a moment, feeling that she may have misunderstood Shiller.

The last time, when Shiller dragged them into a dream, it was because he was sleep-deprived. It wasn't his fault, it was due to the loud noise made by the agents and Clark.

Selina totally forgot about her own noisy fuss, pushing all the blame on the agents and Clark. Then she remembered, when Shiller pulled her into the dream, he specifically invited her to the amusement park. This suggested that he was quite friendly after all.

As Selina walked through the campus, she nodded, feeling that her conjecture was correct.

Well, now he was hiding in the school, not for studying; he was having a date! Even more, he concealed it from Selina―that ignited in Selina an anger of being deceived.

Standing behind a tree and observing for a moment, her rage gradually shifted to confusion for she found that Bruce did not seem very interested in this girl.

Surely, Selina had encountered such situations a few times before. Even if she was holding Bruce's arm, other women would still approach him. However, Bruce was good at handling such matters, so that Selina need not voice out. Thus, Selina wasn't worried.

But what struck her as odd was the attitude of this unfamiliar girl. Those women who had pursued Bruce earlier were mostly social butterflies within the field of fame and fortune. Their pursuit of Bruce wasn't so much from liking him as much as it was driven by the pursuit of fame or fortune.

In such social situations, they wouldn't behave too excessively. Following a set of unspoken protocol, if they found Bruce unmoved, they would simply gracefully walk away in search of their next target. After all, social time was precious—it was unnecessary to waste it on an impassive 'log.'

But the girl across was a little weird. Bruce ignored her, yet she continued to pester him, catching the public's attention. Words about this had already reached Selina's ears from the onlookers.

"Miss Goth, she really has no sense of shame! She's disgracing us. Look at her, relentless in her pursuit of scumbags like Bruce Wayne!" a female student said to her companion.

The other woman glanced around, lowered her voice, and said, "I heard she tried to get into Bruce's bed but was rejected by him; Bruce's roommate told me—it's a reliable source..."

"Did you hear something about the Goth family? Apparently, they have encountered some financial difficulties. Otherwise, why would their miss comport herself with such shamelessness?"

"Bruce is a playboy, but he has blatantly declined her. How could Tracy still pester him?"

Each of these rumors flowing into Selina's ears made her frown. Intuitively, she felt that this matter was not as simple as Miss Goth courting Bruce.

Selina rolled her eyes. Now, she was not impatient. Being with Bruce or Batman for so long, she knew very well that he was only casual with most women.

However, even when he was casual, Bruce was selective. Being beautiful was merely basic; it was better to be educated with a distinctive personality. Otherwise, even the opportunity to enter the scene with Bruce Wayne would seem improbable.

She wondered, if the Goth family was cash-strapped, they should have come up with their solutions—what do they mean by coveting someone else's boyfriend?

Selina was not a very tolerant person in fact, but quite a grudge-bearer. How she felt about Bruce was their business, but deliberately positioning a third party to interfere was going too far, right?

With such a mood, Selina didn't even want to find Bruce; she just wanted to teach the Goth family a lesson. Now she had a plan.

As the renowned flying thief in Gotham, Selina certainly knew how to retaliate against the Goth family.

The next morning, the weather in Gotham had improved a little. Although still overcast, at least the wind had ceased. The bell of the newspboy's car rang from far and near. The gloved hand forcefully rang the bell on the mailbox, quickly leaving after.

Lady Goth came out of the mansion, one hand pressing her scarf, the other pushing open the door to fetch the ordered newspaper from the mailbox.

Something else touched her hand upon opening the mailbox—an envelope. Lady Goth showed a puzzled expression, reached in again, and took the envelope out.

It was an envelope with fragrance. The wax seal had a peculiar emblem.

Lady Goth squinted, examining it, trying to figure out the emblem of the family, but found that this was not an emblem of any family in Gotham; on the contrary, it seemed like a…..cat head?

Lady Goth squeezed the envelope, feeling it was not thick, with only a piece of paper inside—nothing dangerous. So, she took the envelope and returned to the Goth residence, found an envelope cutter, and opened the letter.
