Chương 825: Chapter 562: Shiller's Best Thing (Part 1)_2

However, unlike the previous member gift event, this time there was not a bunch of Cosmic Sorcerer from the abyss following behind, chomping down. Instead, it was an odd combination of The Ancient One, Strange, and Mephisto who were scooping up all the leftovers in a sack.

Initially, the deposit business didn't plan to rope in Mephisto, the old goat. This was an internal business of the Holy Sanctuary, but fate had it that Thor and Stark got into a brawl and Mephisto stumbled upon it, so there was no choice but to cut him in.

Mephisto helped the Holy Sanctuary gather these deposits and the Holy Sanctuary provided him a favorable interest rate and some financial products as return. Mephisto didn't really care about the interest, the key point was, being able to nab something off the Holy Sanctuary, to him, was a magical achievement.

Just moments ago, the Holy Sanctuary had broadcasted to every member customer that they could now deposit their member gifts? And not only will they not be charged, but they would even receive interest? Of course they had to deposit then!

Although they are overstocked for the moment, there is always a day of famine. Who wouldn't want more stored food?

The method the Holy Sanctuary employed in distributing member gifts this time was simple. They first picked up the corpses of all the Deities that were affected by the fight between Stark and Thor, then allocated them according to their previous consumption rates, deposited into individual accounts, and then started calculating interest.

In the early stages, this business model seemed to be a win-win. Not only did they not miss out on member gifts, they could earn interest effortlessly. Several innovative deities were already contemplating depositing some of the unused energy in their hands into the Holy Sanctuary.

Especially after hearing that the more money deposited, the better the interest rate. Many deities were considering it.

By current prospects, the credibility of the Holy Sanctuary is still quite reliable. Besides, these energies fell from the sky like money, even if they lost them, they wouldn't be losing anything. On the contrary, they became stronger due to the energy they absorbed.

Consequently, many deities were willing to deposit a small portion of their energy as a trial. If it's as the Holy Sanctuary said – the interest grows, then wouldn't they have more energy in the future?

Perhaps, those who have a basic understanding of the banking industry should know that the reason banks are willing to provide interest for customers' deposits is essentially because gathering these funds can have a larger impact.

Whether to encourage savings or loans depends on the market situation. If they want to encourage consumption, they will give more discounts on loans. But if they wish to absorb more deposits, they will provide more favorable conditions for savings.

The bank's relationship with the market is inseparable. If the Holy Sanctuary can truly become the bank with the most credit and the most customers in the universe, it can have a huge impact on the universal market.

At the same time, the human civilization that absorbs huge savings can also use this part of the fund to develop itself, which is the ultimate goal of Shiller's plan.

First, using Doomsday, Stark, Loki and the Thunder on the Hammer, a child was created. The appearance of the Ark Reactor on Helen was indeed beyond Shiller's expectation. But even if the Ark Reactor did not appear on Helen, Shiller would have ways to make Thor or others in the Asgardian Gods think there was something going on between Stark and Loki.

This is not difficult since these two have been communicating quite frequently. Spreading rumors would be quite easy. As for the child, Shiller is confident to convince Stark to adopt. In this way, it would be inevitable for Thor to fight Stark.

Seeing that the collection of member gifts was almost complete, Shiller directed Strange to mediate the situation. The best way to mediate was to bring Helen over. Even if Thor was furious, seeing the child specifically would prevent him from making a move.

Of course, Helen's incubation was also partly contributed by Shiller. Shiller would definitely not bring a child this young to face two peak deities of Singular Universes head on.

Therefore, Shiller first transformed into the Gray mist and brought Helen to the high-altitude space of Earth. Helen did not fear at all. She even evolved the capacity to survive in oxygen-deprived environments.

When she moved to space, Helen actually stopped breathing, and just like Doomsday in the original storyline, she was able to absorb the energy of the sun, completely unaffected by its radiation and heat.

This made Shiller slightly at ease. He removed the restriction of the Gray mist. Initially, Helen, floating in space, was a bit confused. But soon, she learned to control her own body in space.

Soon after, she stayed at the same spot for a while before suddenly beginning to fly through space. A divine light wrapped around her and it was evident that she evolved the ability to utilize divine power as a propelling force to travel in the cosmos.

Seeing this, Shiller knew that no adaptability training was needed. Throwing Helen to the battlefield where Thor and Stark were, and after a few minutes, there would probably be more energy-depleted people scuffling.

Seeing this situation, Shiller picked up Helen and called Strange. Shortly after, a portal opened above his head and Shiller flew into it, arriving not too far from where Thor and Stark were going at it.

By that time, their battle had reached its late stage, and neither side had much energy left. However, Stark had previously received a supply from Strange and therefore had more energy than Thor.

Thor had wasted too much divine power with his reckless attacks before. Now, his mana was practically exhausted. But considering Thor is himself a Berserker, having no mana did not matter because he could still brawl with his bare hands.

Stark, however, did not let his anger cloud his judgment. He had no intentions to engage Thor in close combat, so he dodged Thor's moves while using the energy beam emitted from his palm to block Thor, planning to wait until Thor had completely run out of energy before explaining everything to him.

The Helen cradled by Strange tilted her head, focusing on the battlefield, while Strange was chatting with Shiller, oblivious of the fact that the little one in his arms was showing an expression of deep thought, one that was extremely uncharacteristic for her age.

"The collection this time was more than the last, but the quality wasn't as good. After so many crises, anyone with a brain knows to hide. It seems the business will be hard to continue." said Strange with a sigh.

"There's no need to worry. The reduction in the number of deities is a good thing for the universe and even better for humans. No matter how you look at it, we're not at a loss. Worst case scenario, the business just can't expand anymore."

"You make it sound so easy, but I think... Ah! Helen! Helen! Come back!!!" Strange shouted in shock as Helen leaped out of his arms.

With a wave of his cloak, Strange tried to chase after her, but the little one was too fast. Strange squinted and realized that Helen wasn't running, she was teleporting.

All of a sudden, a divine light flashed, and Helen appeared right in the middle of the battlefield. Seeing her figure, Stark yelled, "Helen?? How did you..... Get out of here!!!"

Suddenly, Stark froze. He saw a small figure in the dark universe space, taking one of Iron Man's most classic stances—

The Ark Reactor suddenly lit up, she stretched out One Hand, and energy beam burst forth from the palm of her hand, pouring out radiance, incredibly dazzling.
