Chương 32: 32: Dungeon incident 2
Asher was helped up by the muscular Artonio with a low grunt.
"You're strong, first year." Artonio said.
"I have a name y'know." Asher smiled back, this guy... he would be one of his greatest allies in the future.
Artonio was the villan before the last one and killing him was impossible for even Noah and his gang of main characters so they had to seal him.
Last night, Asher had received a strange system message.
[The system keeps evolving and collecting information from all over the universe]

Asher thought about it for a while. The Asher from the novel he wrote was one of the main characters and Noah's first friend and the most loyal.
He died a tragic death fighting against Artonio and Cashel committed suicide to follow his brother. Eva was already taken by Noah and she wasn't Asher's fiànce at all.
He definitely wouldn't be siding with that guy and not getting a good ending.
[Side character]
[Live as a character who pops up once in a while in the story and assist the plot from time to time]
[Extra]
[Live as a character who's presence doesn't affect the plot in anyway and you can go scot free with anything and the plot will be fixed. Your name never appears, you are invisible]
[Villan]
[Side villan? Main villan? Determine the type of villan you want to be. Disrupting the plot and killing main characters and people associated with them gives you Villan Points which you can use to your benefit.
Your very presence disrupts the plot so expect some changes to the information you know. You have started to experiment this already.
Note: Your luck has to be the same or the higher than the protagonist's so you won't die a tragic death like a normal villan would]
"I was pretty sure about it but I had second thoughts but seeing this description, I've made up my mind."
'VILLAN'
Back to the present, Asher was thinking about this luck. Here he was thinking about how he would meet this guy and be friends with him, he landed right in front of him. Literally.
"That's enough, you two. Shouldn't we get going already? We're the only ones left here." Marisilver sighed.
"Sorry. Let's get going." Artonio apologized and he threw a little device from his pocket onto the ground and a portal grew from it.
Another invention of Wilston's with a hundred space mages. It was a portal.
"This one will take us directly to the front of the E rank dungeon in the Central forest. Try to hold it in..." Artonio seemed to grimace a little as he wasn't anticipating the near future.
...and sure enough after jumping in, everyone laid on the floor like corpses with various mashed up dishes spilling out of their mouths. (Sorry if you're eating and reading T_T)
Asher tried to hold it in but his body betrayed him and his legs felt wobbly.
"We'll be resting for the next one hour, take care of yourselves." Artonio spoke as he wrinkled his nose. It was especially hard for him since he had the nose of a dog– wolf...
Asher looked up to get a view on his surroundings. Trees here, trees there, trees everywhere and some weird glowing blue pineapples.
Finally, in front of him was a large structure made out of old bricks. It looked similar to ruins as mostly everywhere was destroyed but there was one large trapdoor on the ground.
"Looking at it for the first time?" Someone sat beside him and Asher quickly wiped away all the p*ke with water magic and he finally looked.
"Pfft, you didn't have to do that." Marisilver laughed. She had purple eyes and the same pink hair as her sister and a scar that ran through her eye.
"I requested for that scar to be left when my eye was fixed with time magic." She caught his gaze.
"It happened a long time ago but I kept it as a reminder of a sin I'd committed." Her voice was filled with sadness.
"I don't really want to listen but you seem like you need to spill it out, so talk." Asher spoke.
"You're really good at making people sad aren't you?" Marisilver laughed a little.
"You see, Marigold had a twin, Mary. They were inseparable friends... At just one glance, one could tell that they were the best of friends and sisters.
But one day... Mary stumbled on pure father's hidden storage room. One that was filled with forbidden magic techniques."
"Forbidden magic techniques? Why would your father have that?" Asher raised an eyebrow.
"He's in charge of magic research and the king gave him permission to get his hands dirty with a limit, that's almost common knowledge." Marisilver wondered how ignorant this kid was despite his strength.
"Mary started to read through those techniques and one of them was forceful awakening. Normally, we awaken our cores at the age of twelve and that technique was for people who couldn't awaken at that age.
She tried it out and went berserk. She... would've killed our mother if I didn't... stop her on time."
"By stop... You mean kill right?"
"S–"
"My condolences." Asher realized that he had crossed a line there.
"Marigold took a kitchen knife and slashed my eye in the middle of the night as revenge... It was tragic." Marisilver recalled.
"My condolences." Asher spoke again. Did he reincarnate in a soap opera or something?
"It's time!" Artonio's voice cut through the silence.
"It's not up to an hour yet!" Someone shouted.
"But you're all standing and chatting right?" Artonio raised an eyebrow.
"Argh, darn it."
Artonio pulled at a thick chain and the large trapdoor was pulled open and everyone started to march inside.
Thus started one of the most tragic events in the history of Winfrey academy.
