'What is he planning…?'
Haru had no idea what the man was about to do, but he steeled himself for whatever might come next. He knew he had to keep his rising anger in check—any slip-up, any word spoken, would mean failure.
So, all he could do was glare at the man as he moved past him and grabbed the back of Haru's chair.
Then, Haru felt the chair slowly turn, rotating toward the wider part of the room.
The sight that met his eyes left him stunned.
The room was a nightmare—a grotesque scene of blood splattered across the walls, with bizarre-looking instruments and chains hanging ominously from the ceiling. The air was thick with a nauseating, eerie feeling that made Haru's stomach churn.
Even a butcher's shop would seem harmless compared to this.
