"SCRRREEEEEEEEECCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!"
Roachina emitted a terrifying screech, a cry of agony piercing the air as its eye was stabbed.
The sound was so loud that it caused pain and discomfort to Haru's ears. However, he remained undeterred, understanding the crucial moment at hand. With the strong determination, he twisted the sword lodged in Roachina's eye, inflicting even more pain upon the creature.
Feeling the imminent threat of death, Roachina grew desperate and enraged by the pain inflicted by Haru. Hastily, it opened its mouth, trying to launch multiple fiery balls in a final attempt to protect itself from Haru, whom it sensed would be right in front of it.
'This is it!!!!' Despite Roachina opening its mouth to launch the fiery balls at him, Haru showed no signs of worry or nervousness when directly in front of the threat that could kill him. Instead, he seemed as if he had been patiently waiting for this very opportunity.
"TAKE THIS!!!" As Roachina opened its mouth, revealing terrifying teeth wide enough to bite off a human head easily, Haru swiftly grabbed something from behind him. With swift movements, he promptly stuffed it deep into the creature's mouth after quickly removing the pins from those objects.
The objects he tossed into its mouth were three grenades provided by Akio, and they weren't stun grenades like earlier; they were, in fact, explosive grenades.
"NOWWWW DIEEEE!!!!!"
Haru, aware that his plan had succeeded and the grenades were stuck inside the unsuspecting Roachina's throat, swiftly turned back to retreat.
'Please work!! PLEASE!!' As he moved backward, his heart pounded loudly, eagerly anticipating the impending explosion that could go off any second.
As Roachina was blinded, it did not know what Haru had thrown into its mouth. It felt something was stuck in its throat but it couldn't vomit it out easily and was more focused on blasting Haru away.
"SCRE--!!" Just as the creature managed to form a sizable fiery ball to launch at Haru within two seconds, a deafening explosion echoed through the air.
BOOOOM!
The grenades which were inside the throat of Roachina quickly exploded.
Although the Roachina had a tough outer shell to protect itself from any danger below Elite-Rank, its insides were very fragile and soft like any other Roaches. When those grenades exploded, they immediately blasted its throat sending its head flying into the air and burned its inside within a second.
It was the end of Roachina, a terrifying Elite-Rank enemy which Haru somehow managed to slay despite being only Level 5.

Immediately following the explosion and as Haru was retreating, his system displayed multiple messages, something he had been eagerly anticipating and was greatly relieved to see.
'YES!!! FINALLY--' However, before he could fully celebrate his victory, the impact from the explosion hit him as he was retreating, blasting him away since he was only 3 meters away.
Quickly, he used the Black Chain to make a shield and protect himself. But because of the strong impact, Haru was thrown onto the field and rolled on the ground for a few meters.
"Cough! Cough!" Haru coughed as he lifted his mentally and physically tired body from the ground. The smoke and flames from the surrounding made him cough a lot. However, it didn't matter to him because they all survived and finally defeated the creature that had haunted them.
"Haru!! Are you alright!?" Suddenly as he was getting up, Akio's voice reached him as he stood up from the ground.
"Yeah, I am fine!! Forget about me, we did it, Akio!! HAHA! We killed that monster!!!" Haru let out a tired yet triumphant laugh as he shouted toward Akio, who came out of the burning rubble of the stands.
"Wait, are you alright!?" Seeing Akio staggering while walking toward him, Haru couldn't help but ask in worry. He knew how dangerous it must have been for him to survive against the Roachina's earlier bombarding.
"Cough! I am also fine, but are you sure it's really dead? It won't come back to life, will it? Hah... Just thinking about those multiple fiery-balls coming at my direction still gives me the shivers."
"Haha, I know! But now we don't have to worry about it! It's good as dead!! I just received the notification from the System," Haru said as he shifted his eyes toward Aki, who was just two meters away from him, lying on the ground while encased within the chains.
'We did it, Aki!! Ha-ha... I can't believe that we survived yet another disaster!!... I am sorry that it took so long and for dropping you here, but I had no other choice... Don't worry, it won't be for long just a few more hours, so until then let me protect!!' Haru expressed his thoughts as he touched those chains. Seeing the chains were without any damage and were away from the flame's harm, Haru was glad but sorry for treating her like that.
"Ha... Finally, that monster is dead.... That was one terrifying experience that I never thought I would go through." Akio let out a sigh as he came near Haru and saw the lifeless body of Roachina, whose headless form remained within the chains just few meters away from them.
"But we survived it together. Honestly, I don't think I could've done it without you and the special grenades that you made. Thank you, Akio." Haru truly felt grateful to have Akio. If it weren't for his stun grenades and his explosive grenade, which could explode within three seconds after removing the pins, he wasn't sure how he would have slain that terrifying monster.
"Heh... Why are you thanking me? You were one the one who faced that monster head on! Phew, my hands are still trembling; I really thought that I was going to die there."
"Yep, haha... me too. Honestly, I never thought things would--" As Haru was sharing his thoughts while gazing peacefully and lovingly at Aki after a tough, near-death battle that left him completely drained, suddenly, a feeling of dread hit his heart, stopping him in the middle of his sentence.
It was the same feeling that he was very familiar with.
'Wha--!?' But before he could alert himself or figure out the cause of the problem that caused this feeling to rise within him, something penetrated him from his back.
Cough!
[Critical hit!]

'Eh? T-This...' Haru's eyes were bewildered and he puked out a huge amount of blood as he looked down at the thing which appeared to be a bolt which was stabbed from behind and was protruding from the front of his chest.
He then tremblingly turned his neck behind, with a bloodied mouth and chest, and saw the person who was behind the bloodied mess he was in.
Akio stood right behind him with a small, happy yet eerie smile on his face as his right hand gripped the bolt that penetrated Haru's chest. Adjusting his spectacles with his left hand, he asked nonchalantly, "What were you saying, my friend? Why did you stop in between?"
