Chương 127: Her House Sitting Fee From Him

"Hurm... is that a cobweb? Or, a part of the painting?"

Murmuring to herself, Leslie kept staring at the painted ceiling. She lay upside-down on the cushion, her legs dangling from the backrest. Her long hair spilled on the carpeted floor.

Leslie was hooked on the drama but, watching it continuously for almost three hours disturbed her attention. Unable to change to a new TV show, she looked around the lounge.

"Sigh... Wouldn't it be better if I could go outside already?" whispered Leslie, her mind conjuring the beautiful images of Rome she saw in documentaries and books, "But, will I meet any of the Roman soldier ghosts? Or the gladiators?"

Leslie recalled one of the foreign romance books she read before.

The female lead loved going for a swim in a pool, rumored to be a favorite spot of Roman soldiers. She fantasized about meeting the handsome olive-skinned ghosts with curved noses.
