Ivankov rolled his eyes and said, "Attack Marineford? What a joke! It would mean the entire Revolutionary Army would be blamed for it!"
Dragon shook his head in agreement. An attack on Marineford or Mariejois was far too risky and wasn't in the best interest of their cause.
"Just targeting the Marine branch in Logue Town is a more reasonable mission, and fifty million beli is a fair price."
He understood that this mission was a test set by Arías.
"Alright, let's proceed!"
Arías poured a glass of wine for Dragon, raised his own glass, and said, "To a successful cooperation!"
"Likewise, it's a pleasure to work with you!"
With the details of their cooperation settled, there was no need to linger. "My ship is leaving now. You should gather your people, and we'll reconvene here in a month."
After leaving the tavern, Arías instructed Hancock, "You head back first. After we attack Logue Town, the Revolutionary Army and I will return to Nine Snakes."
Hancock, understanding the urgency and the need to avoid disrupting Arías's plans, reluctantly bid him farewell.
Outside the Daybreak, Arías was surprised to see someone he didn't expect. "Kuina? What are you doing here?"
Hiyori smiled at Yamato and said, "Look, Brother Ye will definitely recognize Tashigi as Kuina!"
Tashigi? Arías was puzzled. Why had they brought Tashigi along after she had gone to speak with the Revolutionary Army?
Was Tashigi from Logue Town? But even so, why did she agree to come with Yamato and the others?
Salome circled Tashigi, marveling, "She really looks just like sister Kuina!"
"Yes!" Yamato agreed. "I'm only now convinced that there are two identical people in the world!"
"And they're not even related by blood!"
"By the way, isn't Tashigi actually Kuina's lost sister?"
"And they're the same age. It's hard to believe they're not twins!"
Tashigi, a little shy and blushing, kept fidgeting with the corners of her clothes. The only noticeable difference between her and Kuina was a pair of glasses.
Arías learned that Tashigi had been rescued from a group of pirates who were known for human trafficking. The pirates had locked the abducted children, including Tashigi, in a rented house in Logue Town. When Yamato and her group encountered the pirates, a battle ensued, leading to the pirates' defeat.
Hiyori had gone to notify the Marine branch in Logue Town, but Tashigi had remained behind, striking up a friendship with Yamato and the others due to her resemblance to Kuina. With nowhere else to go after her family was killed by pirates, Tashigi was invited to join Yamato and Hiyori in going to Kuja, where she was told there was someone who looked just like her.
Hiyori then asked Arías, "Brother Ye, can you take her to Nine Snakes? Sister Tashigi has lost her family, and if we don't take her in, she'll be left on the streets."
Realizing that he hadn't yet agreed to Tashigi's presence, Hiyori made a somewhat pleading request.
Arías agreed, reflecting that without the interference with the pirates, they might have encountered other conflicts or attracted Marine attention, leading to Tashigi being saved and joining Marine instead.
It seemed that as he altered the future world line more, even without actively destroying plots, the storylines were significantly diverging.
Upon boarding the Dawn, Salome set sail.
Arías used the Op-Op Fruit's abilities to phase through the ship's hull and into the water, then used the Earth Immortal and Phantom Barrier to return to Logue Town.
He found an unoccupied house that had clearly been vacant for at least a month, with a light layer of dust settling in the room. This would be his temporary hideout until the Revolutionary Army arrived, allowing him to implement his plans.
After a bit of cleaning, Arías began to practice the abilities of the Op-Op Fruit. Although he had possessed this fruit for a while, he had not yet seriously developed its powers. This was a perfect opportunity to focus on mastering it.
Meanwhile, in the first half of the Grand Line, the doll had arrived in the Capital of Seven Waters. Ah Jin had fully recovered from his injuries and was training with the Monet sisters. Monet's ability had awakened, and Sugar's talismans had made significant progress. She could now defeat Ah Jin within nine talismans, even if he were at his best.
Tom, in the Capital of Seven Waters, had completed the sea train "Smoking Tom," and its launch was celebrated by the island's residents and Enies Lobby officials. The event was a grand spectacle, and everyone was thrilled. However, Spandam, a CP9 commander from the World Government, appeared and demanded the Ancient Weapon Pluton design from Tom.
Tom calmly responded, "I don't know anything about an Ancient Weapon. You must be mistaken."
Unwilling to back down, Spandam insisted, "It must be with you! Hand it over, or you'll face consequences even if you've built a sea train!"
Frame, enraged, grabbed Spandam by the collar, "You just want to kill my master! You need evidence to convict him, not just baseless accusations!"
Bingshan quickly intervened, aware that Spandam was a high-ranking official of the World Government and not someone they could afford to antagonize.
Tom said, "Sir, I don't know what you're talking about. If there's nothing else, I will be going."
Spandam, frustrated and determined to complete his mission, left with Frame and Bingshan.
"Think I can't act without evidence? We'll see about that!" Spandam muttered angrily.
