In the vast emptiness between worlds, John found himself surrounded by the silent whispers of the cosmic void. It was like standing in the middle of nothing, yet everything—a surreal cosmic dance of dark energies and unspoken mysteries.
"Hey, mortal," echoed a voice that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere. John, curious and somewhat surprised, responded, "Who are you, and what's all this?"
The voice, which John figured was the Void, boomed gently. "Ah, you're in for a cosmic treat, my friend. I'm the Void, the big cosmic soup that fills the gaps between worlds. And as for 'all this,' well, you're about to become a god."
John blinked, processing the cosmic bomb dropped on him. "A god? Seriously?"
The Void chuckled, a sound that echoed through the emptiness. "Yep, seriously. Olympus awaits, and you've got a front-row ticket to the divine drama. But here's the kicker—I've thrown in some extra-special powers to spice things up."
"Extra-special powers? You mean, like, god-level powers?" John asked, a mix of disbelief and excitement in his voice.
"You got it. You're not just any god; you're going to reincarnate as Hades, the god of the underworld. And trust me, it's a more happening gig than it sounds."
As the Void delved into the details of his newfound powers and divine responsibilities, John couldn't help but be intrigued. "So, what's my role in all of this cosmic drama?"
The Void explained, "You're here to shake things up, to bring a fresh breeze into the stale air of Olympus. The gods and titans are playing their roles, but you? You're the wildcard."
John scratched his head, a newfound godly habit, and muttered, "Well, this is unexpected."
In the cosmic void, the conversation continued. "Embrace your destiny, Hades. Olympus awaits," the Void declared.
John, still grappling with the surreal nature of his situation, asked, "But what about my old life? What about the people I cared about?"
The Void sighed, a cosmic breeze that carried the weight of the universe. "Time moves differently here. Your mortal connections will fade, but Olympus has its own brand of drama. It's a new chapter, my friend."
A moment of despair washed over Hades as he contemplated the loss of his mortal life, his loved ones, and the familiarity he once knew. Yet, a gentle acceptance settled within him, recognizing the inevitability of cosmic change. And what can he really do at this point except just following the flow of his destiny it's not he has any power over a literal Primordial God.
"Now, let's talk about these powers of yours," the Void continued, diving into the intricacies of Hades's newfound abilities. "You've got control over the Void, the spaces between worlds. It's the essence that binds existence, and you're wielding it like a cosmic maestro."
As the cosmic threads tightened their grip on Hades, he felt a pull, a tug towards something new. The Void's whispers turned into a cosmic lullaby, and Hades found himself reborn, now a god with extra-special void powers.
