Xu Xiaoyan shook her head slightly as she looked at Tang Wulin. "Tang Wulin, Tang Wulin, I was Wu Zhangkong's student once, but only a student. Ask your master, would he dare to accept me as his disciple?"
Xu Xiaoyan felt disappointed in Tang Wulin. She had thought he was smart when they were in Eastsea City, but he hadn't made much progress since then.
He couldn't even compare to Le Zhengyu, let alone Anping. But Xu Xiaoyan understood that she had gained her current knowledge only after leaving Shrek Academy and following Anping and Gu Yuena.
If she had stayed at Shrek Academy and followed their teaching methods, chanting slogans about being proud of Shrek and linking everything to her cultivation and combat power, she would probably be no different from Tang Wulin now.
Tang Wulin wanted to argue back, but Zhuo Shi raised his hand to stop him. "I'm not qualified to be her master."

Zhuo Shi felt the sudden and fleeting pressure on his body and his heart tightened. He remembered that he had offended Xu Xiaoyan's master without thinking, and Yun Ming was warning him.
He also felt a bit scared. Yun Ming's strength might have surpassed their expectations. Zhuo Shi thought that Yun Ming might be the strongest person below the god level.
It made sense, though. Xu Xiaoyan could claim to be Yali's disciple, and Yali was Yun Ming's wife. It wasn't strange for Yun Ming to do this.
