Chương 388: A Journey Started

This is a small chapter to show what her plan is... Next chapters will be longer and focussed on Star Wars. I wish to expand a little more onto the Old republic and show the difference between Sith and Jedi... Stay tuned.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I stood before the Jedi temple on the planet of Coruscant, the large red carpet strip expanding out before me as multiple pillars of pure marble and other stones that I couldn't identify lined it. My armour was currently in the form of dark red robes, powerful looking Jedi armour and an intimidating neck gorget that ended just before my chin. My presence wasn't unnoticed either as hundreds of soldiers in old republic era armour started to approach me as I slowly walked up the red carpet. Eclipsing them however was the massive pyramid-like temple that thrummed in the force, my already vast connection swelling as I could feel the sheer number of force users concentrated here.

The soldiers weren't the only ones appearing either as I saw hundreds of Jedi, ranging from humans to Twi'leks and even Chiss. Sabers were not drawn yet, but their gaits revealed the caution they held for me. I could feel their concern and worry over my presence in the force. Along with them however was a signature that was very familiar to me. Satele Shan. Strutting through the crowd of fifty Jedi, Satele gradually reached the front of the pack, peering down at me from the top of the staircase that would take me into the temple proper. Confusion mixed with curiosity washed out from her at comprehending who I was, her halted pace picking up once again as she stepped down the stair eagerly, much to the increased stress of her fellow Jedi.

"Emelia! It is good to see you once again." She spoke out to me in an intense tone as she quickly bridged the gap between us, looking at the soldiers and gesturing with her eyes and head to stand down. They didn't listen to her and instead gazed upwards at a man in brown robes with proper Jedi Armour, a human with piercing green eyes.

"It is good to see you once again Satele. How have you been?"

"Good. I have been meditating on the force of late and have uncovered some small echoes amidst its depths."

"Hmmm, I am glad that you are well. As for the force, well it is most likely due to my current mission..."

Satele's face became rigid as she piercingly gazed into my eyes, no matter how draconic they looked. I smiled and pulled down the hood that was covering my head before, my blonde hair flowing down my shoulders as my new features caused her to widen her eyes.

"What happened? Did you have cosmetic surgery...?"

"No, you could say I evolved in a way. Anyway, that is not what matters. I have come here to seek the assistance of the Jedi in connecting to the light side of the force."

"Connect you say. I can not choose to allow you, it must be put to the council..."

"That is fine, I am sure everything will turn out well." Her smile widened at the trust I was placing in them, her features rather ragged and worn, no doubt from her extended meditation.

"Master! Emelia, the Empress of the Veritas Imperium wishes to learn how to connect with the force!" She shouted up the stairs to the human male with green eyes, his face completely calm, lacking emotion.

"Then we shall invite her in. Be welcome." He nodded and turned, the other Jedi following after him as small chatter began to suffuse them all. Not many had seen me, my position being the only thing that most of them had heard of.

"Emelia, how long will you be staying?"

"As long as I need to. Time is irrelevant to me as I can exist in multiple times at once."

"Very well. Then let me take you to the Jedi Council."

...

At the same time On Korriban...

I walked through the dens of worms that was interspersed between the main Sith temple and the landing pad. A white lightsaber ignited in my hands as I sliced off the mandibles of the walking worms, their purple blood leaking into the desolate orange sands of Korriban. Distant temples of orange and red rose through distant sand storms, the statues peaking through showing the immense power that the Sith Empire held, even below the Veritas Imperium.

My boots crunched on the sand as I walked forwards, slicing heads off every now and again as the worms tried to attack me. My surroundings were filled with hidden eyes, operatives and soldiers galore. I wasn't 'alone' for long however as in front of me, as i reached the stairs reaching upwards towards the sith temple, several figures with ignited lightsabers stood ominously. Red glowed dangerously into the hazy sand-filled view that I had at present. A mask similar to Revan's adorned my face as a small area around me was unaffected by the sand.

"Halt..." A crispy deep voice echoed out in raspy tone, the injury to his voice being evident.

Ignoring him I continued forwards, upwards towards them. A growl resulted from my act as one sith spun their blade in their hand, energy becoming more prevalent within the force as conflict was near. Once I was five metres away, I stopped, my head turning upwards to watch them with curiosity.

"I have come to learn about the dark side... Either you will share, or I will crush you underfoot." Laughs resounded as some snickers followed. They did not take me seriously.

"Go back home little girl! No one has time for your idiocy." The figure turned around as I raised my hand... Before any of them could respond he was pulled backwards towards me, my white lightsaber blade sticking out of the place that was once his heart. The sick crackling smell of burning flesh wafted out to join the sand's movements for a few moments until the screeching sound of my lightsaber turning off resounded, the body falling to the ground with a dull thumping noise.

"Under...foot..." My voice was slightly diluted from the mask but my tone was not lost on them. None were frightened, but many were cautious now. Most of them were smiling at the act I had just carried out whilst some were looking suspiciously towards their 'friends'. Their nonsense finished quickly though as a man in deep dark armour, black as night, stepped out. Pale white skin gleaming in the sand, his head bald and his eyes as yellow as a class G star.

"You... are welcome to learn the ways... The rest of you shall accommodate her." Snarls and tsks followed but it was all ceased as Darth Malgus peered over them all, his force presence bristling in anger and pure killing intent.

"NOW!" All of them deactivated their lightsabers, coming towards me to escort me within the bounds of the sith temple... My quest to understand the force from a mortal's perspective was going well thus far, I would have to see where it leads me.
