Chương 72: Chapter 71: New Knowledge, Hand of the Wolf

Although Professor Quirrell now knows the weakness of the three-headed dog, he does not yet know the levels set by other professors.

Of course, he can't act rashly; after all, he only has one chance.

And Ted will not get involved with this problem, and even has to restrain his friends from getting into this problem.

The best way to prevent your friends from getting involved with the three-headed dog and the secret door is not to directly forbid them, as this may have the opposite effect due to rebellious psychology.

The correct approach is to keep them occupied.

So, Ted's Little Classroom is open again!

Ron and Jerry hugged each other, shivering.

Ted initiated an after-school tutoring course called "Magic Practice Class," aimed at gaining insights into real-world magical scenarios.

His friends were required to form groups of five or practice individually in wizard duels.

The schedule included morning exercises and theoretical studies in the morning, with practical dueling sessions scheduled for the afternoon.

During the following days, Ron and the others, including the energetic little Supergirl, Harley, were so drained that they'd collapse into sleep as soon as their heads hit the pillows, waking up only at dawn. Nighttime adventures seemed like a distant memory.

In just a week, thoughts of the three-headed dog and the magic stone had faded from their minds. As they wrapped up their after-school tutoring sessions, their initial enthusiasm had waned—children's interests tend to be fleeting.

April passed uneventfully. Ted's friends were engrossed in their "after-school tutoring." Meanwhile, Professor Quirrell's activities remained a mystery. Everything else carried on as usual, and everyone was in good spirits.

Ted finally completed another task during this time: [College Model (Blue)]. After more than seven months of effort, he gained 100 points, resulting in a reward of 300 experience points.

The three optional cards were presented with a blue frame. The first card depicts the back of an elderly wizard with long white hair. He extended his wand, conjuring flames that formed two walls, creating a path amidst numerous humanoid monsters.

[Vulcan Clears the Way (blue)] Spell card

This advanced magic, encapsulating transfiguration, ignition spells, and fire control, empowers you to master the art of shaping flames. It enhances both functionality and lethality, allowing you to wield fire with precision and power.

Note: Requires Proficiency in Transfiguration Level 3, Enchantment Level 4, Ignition Level 4, and Fire Control Level 3 is essential to unlock and harness the capabilities of this spell.

Somehow, Ted couldn't shake the feeling that the old wizard bore a striking resemblance to Dumbledore. He recalled that this particular magic trick was employed in the original book, within the cave where the imitation Slytherin jewelry box was concealed — used to ward off the Inferi.

Could it be possible that Dumbledore himself invented this curse? The requirements, indeed, seem quite demanding.

Moving on to the second card, it features a bear trap with a blue flame burning in the middle.

[Frost Trap (Blue)] Spell card

This spell allows you to expend a small amount of magical power to establish a frost trap within a ten-meter radius in the vicinity. Any target that comes into contact with it will be frozen by ice, with the duration varying based on the disparity in strength.

Note: Even incorporeal targets are not immune to the effect of magical traps.

Isn't this the skill of an Azeroth hunter?

The third card features a large humanoid figure made of soil and rocks~

[Mud Puppet (Blue)] Summoning card

Summons a clay golem to fight for you.

Lasts 10 minutes, cools down for 8 hours.

"Yo~ This is good, I want this!"

Ted likes summoning cards, and he prefers having a group of minions instead of engaging directly.

How can you be a wizard if you don't have a group of living shields in front of you?

Ted once found an opportunity to summon his [Troll (Blue)] in an abandoned classroom. To be honest, apart from the smell, it had a low IQ and needed to be commanded, and there was nothing wrong with it. It showcased impressive fighting power!

While a few young wizards managed to handle trolls on their own, it was due to the lack of direction. Trolls, being inherently unintelligent, become formidable adversaries when guided by someone knowledgeable.

In contrast, the [Mud Puppet (Blue)] is also a blue quality summoning card, and the quality is definitely not bad.

Ted once again found an opportunity to use the summoning card.

The clay puppet is standing at three meters tall. Its body is made of rocks wrapped in soft mud, the puppet had minimal facial features with only two stone eyeballs. But it can see. Though lacking high intelligence, it was more astute than a troll, following basic orders and turning its head when needed

While not as lethally aggressive as the giant monster, the clay puppet boasted stronger defenses, being impervious to low-end magic spells thanks to its magic resistance shell. Ted tested it against spells like the leg-locking charm, the fang charm, and the disarming charm, all of which proved ineffective.

Even his own ice arrows and ice rings had very little effect—causing only minimal damage and a slowdown of less than three seconds. This thing was simply a mediocre wizard killer!

For those wizards with average strength, dealing with clay puppets is practically impossible.

Despite the clay puppet's not-so-fast movement speed, it's not sluggish either. A massive three-meter-tall stone man charges forward, and magic spells seem to have little effect on it. Are you scared? A single punch could bring you close to death!

With the giant monster and the clay golem acting as two formidable commanders, and the guardians on the left and right, Ted immediately felt secure. As long as he didn't provoke powerful wizards, he truly didn't worry about the dangers in the magical world!

As spring returns to the earth, green vegetation becomes lush again, and May has silently arrived.

Ted once again waited with great expectations for new knowledge about other worlds but was disappointed once more.

"Ding~The talent [Knowledge from Another World (Gold)] was triggered, and the [Ninja Prosthetic Hand Production Blueprint (Green)] was discovered."

The [Ninja Prosthetic Hand Production Blueprint (Green)] details the creation, enhancement, and utilization of the Ninja Prosthetic Hand made by Dogen, the master of machine tools and peerless miraculous doctor, and the Buddhist sculptor Ninja Hibiru who carved karma. It takes 150 experience to redeem.

"It's useless! It's still useless!"

Isn't this Shinobi's prosthetic hand the same as Sekiro's? Is the technical content too low? But it only costs 150 experience points? This is the "cheapest" knowledge Ted has seen so far.

However, Ted took back this idea after the exchange—it was actually quite technical.

Although this ninja prosthetic hand is just a prosthetic limb and cannot compare with the technical content of the black secret skill Crow, it still has many expansion possibilities.

For example, load the "organ umbrella"!

Can resist and absorb magic and physical damage and can also be used to attack and counterattack.

For example, load "Magic Whistle"!

Can cause some wild beasts and magical animals to be stimulated, become insane, and attack randomly.

For example, the hook lock is like Spider-Man's web, such as shooting darts, such as producing explosions, such as spraying flames, such as turning into an axe, such as becoming invisible, such as phantom stand-in...

In short, various "enchantments" can be carried out through various "magic props" to give them different effects.

This thing actually has a compatible system! Cow beer!

Is this a prosthetic hand? This will cost you 3,000 lives!

Although the Black Secret Technique Crow is a superior puppet technique, the Ninja Prosthetic Hand also has its own advantages. If the technical concept of the Ninja Prosthetic Hand is applied to the puppet crow, it will undoubtedly be a step up.

Sure enough, even if some alien worlds are a bit less mysterious, the wisdom they condense cannot be underestimated. "Indeed, every world has its own unique advantages. I can't become complacent!" Ted reflected on himself.

Although I haven't "unveiled" very powerful knowledge about other worlds for several months, the previous "knowledge reserve" is sufficient to keep me occupied for a long time.

Ted has already begun researching the second-level magic in DND in May! Today is Friday again, and there is a Potions class in the morning, a significant session for the four colleges.

Ever since Ted acquired [Apothecary's Gloves (Blue)], his potion-making has become increasingly convenient. Those low-end potions in the textbooks can be concocted almost as effortlessly as the seasoned potion master who has been doing it for many years.

However, Snape's requirements also increased, and he became even more critical. Whether it was imperfections in the processing of the medicinal materials, instability in the water bath temperature, or a lack of innovation with students merely adhering to the script and displaying craftsmanship, he found reasons for dissatisfaction. In short, he was not satisfied!

Don't inquire; there were still imperfections to be found.

"Don't think that simply boiling it according to the records in the textbook will transform it into a magic potion. The formulas in the books are only the safest and simplest, not necessarily the finest. If you can't discover your unique formula through study, I recommend considering an early exit from this subject. It's not suited for everyone!"

Snape's words were laced with venom, and his speech sparkled with fiery critique.

But everyone is used to it, and students who cannot adapt to this high-pressure situation will definitely get worse and worse in the end.

However, if you can adapt to it, you will abandon these external distractions, concentrate on brewing the medicine, and make great progress.

Of course, Snape's original intention was definitely not to temper them, but simply felt that they were stupid and would not complain.

It is true that among this class of students, only Ted and Hermione were very talented in potions, but both of them were people whom Snape looked down upon.

Just when we were having lunch, Ansu suddenly flew over.

Ted stretched out his arm and let it fall: "I was wondering why you didn't come just now. I thought you went to hunt for wild food."

However, Ansu shook his head and looked left and right, then stretched out a foot: "Your letter~"

"Ho? Who sent it?"

"Hagrid, big Hagrid!"

I have to say that Hagrid is very good at dealing with magical animals, and he even asked Ansu to send a letter for him.

Ted opened it and there was a small note: It's about to be born! Come quickly!
