"Go back home, Alice," Helian Chen's voice was low but his tone was non-negotiable.

"W-What?"

The man turned to look at his bodyguards, "Escort Madam to home safely."

Alice looked at the man in disbelief. Not only was he sending her away but he was also sending his bodyguards along with her under the guise of protection so that they could keep an eye on her. And did he think she would not notice that?

Her gaze as she looked at him turned indignant.

However, before she could utter a word, the man grabbed her elbow and pulled her closer.

"Don't make a fiasco. You never know where reporters might possibly be. What if you drop your facade as the ever so calm and composed, elegant Mrs. Chen?"

As if the mention of the media was a trigger, Alice immediately stiffened. Her eyes shrunk and she clenched her fist.
