In the evening William came home, from headquarters. He was immediately greeted by Amanda who was still awake after putting Arabella and Rosabelle to bed. With a smile on her face, she hugged her husband who had just arrived home.

"You're finally home, I thought you'd be home in the morning," Amanda greeted him and kissed his lips.

"My new partner hasn't arrived yet, so I can go straight home since I don't have any important missions to do yet." William kissed her back then hugged her tightly, burying his face into her shoulder.

Amanda rubbed her head, looking at William who suddenly hugged her like that. "What's wrong, something happened again?"

He shook his head, saying nothing happened. But something was bothering him quite a bit. Knowing that, Amanda took William to the kitchen to have dinner first while talking about it.
