After a few takes, the scene finally wrapped up. Chen Mumu felt emotionally drained; the emotions she had to summon were overwhelming. Director Zhang walked over to her, his voice soft and reassuring.

"You did well," he said. "Rest for a few minutes before we begin the next scene."

Chen Mumu nodded quickly, grateful for the short reprieve. She made her way back to her trailer, hoping for a moment of peace to collect herself.
