Chen Mumu's house was actually quite big. Everything was arranged neatly, and it was also very clean.

When Xia Fei was here, she looked at it as though it were a pigsty, but Xu Jingli thought it was cozy. It was so warm that his heart felt lighter as soon as he walked in.

Chen Mumu walked in first and opened the door for him. Xu Jingli bent down to remove his shoes, which surprised Mumu.

She smiled softly and offered him a pair of slippers, though they were a smaller size because she didn't have any others. Xu Jingli looked funny wearing them, and she stifled a laugh as she walked back inside. "Welcome to my humble abode, young Master Xu," she said.

Xu Jingli smiled and looked around. "It's very warm," he said.

Mumu smiled. "Yes, it is. This is home."
