Chương 147: THE CALM SEA

Swimming in the high tides of the sea, we arrived at the edge of the Alaska beach by Mount Chugach late at night the next day. Getting out of the water, I shifted, ensuring that we were both clothed.

"How are you able to extend the shifting ability to me? Is it because we are mated ?" Haida asked, and I nodded.

We left the beach and walked towards Elder Zaya's home. Haida's eyes widened when we got there and she asked "Is this your home? "

"No. It's Elder Zaya's home. She gave me the keys" I explained.

Once we got into the house, we both took a shower. Luckily Zaya's house had a phone and after calling her to tell her we had arrived safely, she insisted that I use her card until I was able to access my bank. Hence I proceeded to order new clothes for Haida and a new phone and sim card replacement. When I got to the kitchen, I found Haida was already preparing dinner.
