There was a faint, almost static hum from it, too, as if it were straining to remain in her vision, but every time it appeared, the words were just garbled gibberish. They didn't mean anything. They were-

She swallowed.
What could cause her normally passive system to react like this?
It was hard to get a good look at the item in her hand with how the system kept popping up over it but-

Sheesh. I'm exhausted today from dental work, no sleep, and no food. This was hard.
