Chương 129: I'm not overworking, I'm making up for lost time

After the delivery of the moonflowers, it took a few days before the poultice was effectively given out to all who were sick.

There were, fortunately, enough moonflower combined with what she brought home and what all other efforts had wrought so that there was no question of abandoning those who were perhaps too sick to bother.

Unfortunately, there were so many who hadn't survived long enough for even this that it stung deeply all the same.

It took time to properly prepare and process the moonflower, and with much of the castle itself sick, getting it out to everyone mostly relied on those who had been cured by previous batches of moonflower.

Isabelle worked hard organizing it, overseeing distribution, making sure it was rationed out effectively. She spent nearly twenty hours a day with her various ministers and assistants, overseeing things and managing things until she was certain it was done.
