Joshua Hayes hastily spoke: "Brother Cole, aren't you proficient in the Ghost Gate Thirteen Needles?"
"I've seen you bring back people who were on the brink of death with just a few quick pricks of the needles."
"Michele just got poisoned; I'm sure there must be a way."
William Cole sighed: "The Ghost Gate Thirteen Needles can only heal those who are physically injured or expel toxins from the body."
"Everyone I've treated in the past was only locally poisoned, a single organ temporarily losing its function, and their lives weren't in danger."
"But Michele's situation is different. Her body is full of the venom from the Blood Ant Undead Insect. Once the Ghost Gate Thirteen Needles are used to expel the poison with full force, I'm afraid she might not be able to stand it."
"Isn't there another way then?" Joshua Hayes asked with a touch of despair. In his eyes, William Cole was akin to a god.
Anyone whom even William Cole couldn't save probably stood no chance of survival.
