Chương 9: Chapter 9: None Of Your Business

Wind was a very powerful elemental ability in the sense that it provided ease of movement while also making it possible for the user to unleash long-range attacks with large area coverage.

Arsha knew firsthand how powerful this ability was and that was the reason why he was keeping his guard up against this Unique tier wolf.

He had been able to land two successful hits on the beast with his flaming gauntlets, but the beast was still standing.

He quickly moved back as it let out a loud growl before sending out numerous wind blades in all directions.

He was able to quickly get on top of one of the trees in the area to avoid that wind attack but that didn't mean the tree had any way of avoiding that.

The wind blades sliced through the tree, and just as it came crashing to the ground, Arsha jumped off toward the wolf.

It was about to open its mouth the moment he dropped in front of it, but he didn't give it the time needed to do that.

He took a quick step to get close enough to the beast, and with both of his hands, he slammed the beast's mouth shut.

The beast let out a little groan, but it would have been louder than that if Arsha wasn't holding its mouth shut.

Being cornered like that, the best knew that its only way of getting out was getting Arsha to move back with its numerous wind-blade attacks.

It slowly began to shake its tail, but just before it could go into full motion, Arsha's gauntlets lit up with flames, and without hesitation, he slammed his fist straight into its face.

The beast tumbled back crying in pain but Arsha wasn't done yet.

Just before it could move further down, a thin rope made entirely out of water wrapped around its neck, and on the other side of it was Arsha.

"I think this is as far as this fight goes." He uttered before he pulled the beast forward with a single tug and slammed it on the floor.

The impact of the beast hitting the floor shook the area a little, and to finish it off, he used a water bullet but with his lowest firepower.

"I think I may have played with this one a little too much." He muttered before squatting down beside it.

He always brought along a small knife on his hunts, and with that knife, he was able to carve out the right side of the beast's chest and retrieve a rough-edged green crystal.

"That's five hundred Pecula." He muttered before throwing it into the small bag around his waist. "One hundred multiplied by eleven plus three hundred multiplied by five plus five hundred. That's three thousand one hundred Pecula, I still need ninety-six thousand nine hundred."

He got up to go get the crystal from the other wolves when his nose suddenly caught something in the air.

"Three Unique tier Flame bats." He confirmed before giving the air another sniff. "Perfect, it's easier when I don't have to dodge."

________ ________

Arsha was in the forest for quite a while, but he was still able to make it back before curfew.

The hallway was already empty by the time he entered the boy's dormitory and that was because they had just five minutes left before curfew.

He quickly walked down the hallway until he found the door he was looking for, a room by the left with the number twenty-seven printed on the door.

He quickly used his card to unlock the door before quickly making his way in there.

"What the heck dude?!" The student on one of the beds yelled before quickly springing up from his bed.

There only reason why this student would be in a room Arsha just opened was because he was his roommate.

This particular student went by the name Jayden Lens and he was among the top thirty-ranked students in the academy.

He had dark curly hair and a pair of brown eyes, he had a fairly slender body compared to Arsha who seemed to be a bit buff in his arms especially and he seemed to be a few centimetres shorter than his blonde roommate.

"What do you mean, what the heck?" Arsha retorted before he began to make his way to his bed which was on the right.

"Don't you realize that you had just five minutes left, you'll be in big trouble if you get caught outside."

"Calm down, it's no big deal." Arsha sighed before unzipping the bag around his waist. "If I get caught it's going to be my first time so I'll be let off with a warning, or in the worst case scenario, I'll be asked to clean the bathroom but it's not like I'm going to let that happen. I have a good sense of time so it's okay."

After hearing him say all that, Jayden let out a sigh before crashing down on his bed.

"At this point, it won't be wrong to classify you as some kind of artificial intelligence, you give the same reply every single time, nothing is omitted and nothing is added."

"I have a response for every annoying statement or question and there's no point in modifying it, it's not worth the effort."

"And you're calling me annoying again."

"Don't think about it too much," Arsha remarked before pouring out all the crystals in his bag on the floor.

There were a lot of blue and yellow crystals there but Jayden has his eyes on the green ones.

"That's eleven unique tier beasts, you didn't hunt any master tiers today?"

"I only hunt master tiers when I want to hunt them, but I guess in my case I just have to be in the right spot for them to find me."

"I can't even imagine taking down eleven unique tier beasts by myself, talk more of going after a master tier, what do you even need all the money for?" He inquired with his gaze now fixated on his teammate.

At that moment, Arsha turned his gaze to him, but he didn't give him any reply, he just stared at him with a straight face

He stared at Jayden to the point that he started to feel uncomfortable but he wasn't going to leave at just staring.

"That's none of your business." He finally said before turning away from him.

Jayden had never felt more insulted, he just turned away from Arsha burying his face in his bed, trying to do anything stupid was going to end with only him getting hurt after all.
