Chương 5: Chapter 5: I'm Not Every Fire User

After resting on the floor for a while and recovering some of his mana, Arsha was finally able to get up on his feet.

Of course, there was no longer anybody left in the stands even though it took just ten minutes for his depleted mana to be completely replenished.

"I guess it's that time again." He muttered before joining both of his hands together to stretch them.

He looked around the arena for a few seconds before he used his hand to knock off the dust on his uniform, and after that, he began to walk out of the area.

The uniform of Aigis Academy was mostly a black shirt and a pair of trousers for the boys and a black shirt and skirt for the girls.

However, there was more to it than just that, there was a unique way to differentiate between the three classes.

There was a color theme for each class, and these themes were embedded in their uniform which was mostly black.

The color theme for the first years was the lemon-green color, the one for the second years was red and the one for the third years was purple.

These colors were tailored into their uniforms in the form of a well-detailed embroidered stripe running down all the way from the pocket of their shirts to the lowest part of it, the edge of their sleeves were also outlined with these colors.

This was a unique way to help tell which student was in which class, however, it was a bit insufficient and that was what brought about the jackets.

Each class got jackets based on their color themes and they were required to wear them every day but that didn't really sit well with a lot of students.

If there was a ranking for the most neglected rule in the school, it would be the jacket rule.

Arsha was one of the many students who didn't like moving around with his jacket on because he believed that two layers of clothing including his underwear was enough for him.

He was out of the area now and outside the walls of the academy. With afternoon classes over, the students were allowed to do whatever they wanted to do until combat training in the evening.

Arsha was going to put that time to good use but so far he had just been strolling down an empty road, there was a long row of tall bushes by his right, and by his left was a fairly large lake which was a safe landing spot for anyone who wanted to jump out from the second or third floor of the class buildings, and that was where the second year and third year classes were located.

It was just him on the road for a while, but then he suddenly heard someone yell something from behind.

"So, they've finally decided to show themselves," Arsha muttered under his breath before turning around to see two students standing a little distance away from him.

The stripe on their uniform was lemon green so it was obvious that they were first-year students.

One of them had bright red hair, a color that caught his attention the moment he saw it, while the other one had dark hair.

From what he could tell, the red-haired was the one taking charge because he seemed to have a determined look on his face masked with a grin while the other one was acting a bit timid.

'I guess he's being forced to do this.'

"So, can I help you guys?" Arsha inquired just after turning to them.

"Yeah." The red-haired student replied with a nod. "We're just out here looking for a certain second-year student whose mana runs out after one attack."

"Mana runs out after one attack?" He muttered with his hand on his cheek. "I guess I'm the only one who sort of fits that description." He added politely.

"Oh, really." The red-haired student uttered as a smirk suddenly appeared on his face. "Then there's no way you'll be able to deal with this!"

Just after adding that last part, he stretched out both of his hands and quickly sent two large fireballs flying toward the second-year student.

"Seth, no!"

They both expected him to move out of the way to avoid that, but he just stood there as both of the fireballs hit him simultaneously, setting the spot he was standing on ablaze and covering the area in smoke.

Seth had a very confident look on his face before making that attack because he believed that no matter what he would be able to take down someone who didn't have that much mana, but right now he had a shocked expression on his face.

"I knew he had a low mana pool, but I never expected it to be this easy."

"Is he okay?" His friend inquired with a worried expression on his face.

"Yeah, there's no way that attack could have killed him, but if I'm wrong then we have to get out of this area before we get in trouble for harming a student." He sounded quite panicked as he grabbed his friend by his arm and turned around.

However, just before they could take a step forward, they felt something, they felt something burning through their shoulders, it was the hands of someone but they were too terrified to even turn around to check who it was.

This person right behind them was giving off a very dark and ominous aura like a huge beast ready to take off their head at any time.

Seth's confidence disappeared in the blink of an eye and as for his friend, his whole body was trembling now.

"If you thought that breeze of a fire attack was going to harm me then you know nothing about your ability."

That voice hit Seth with a heavy dose of reality check.

"That's right, Henry mentioned that you were a level five, but I was too focused on your low mana weakness." He muttered with a voice devoid of hope before slowly turning his head to see that his flames didn't even do anything to Arsha.

His clothes were also unharmed and there was no scent of smoke on him.

"Before you go trying to bully anyone, especially your seniors, you should do proper research, okay?"

Seth responded with a nod hoping that he would let them go but Arsha didn't have any intention of doing that.

He tapped his foot on the ground, and before the two knew it, they were surrounded by thick flames, it was like they were in a prison of some sort because they couldn't even see the sky.

They could still feel the cool air just a few seconds ago even with Arsha's hot hands on their shoulders but right now, all that cool air was gone.

The only thing they could feel now was the hot air coming from the flames surrounding them and it was like hell for them but Arsha was quite okay being in there with them.

"Who the heck are you?" Seth his lower lip before crashing to his knees. "I know it's your flames but it's not like every fire user has fire resistance."

While he was trying to get an answer, Henry was already on the floor crying his eyes out.

"You're right, but I'm not every fire user," Arsha responded before taking a step away from them. "This fire prison is going to last for an hour and thirty minutes, so stay in here and reflect on your action, it's a free period so you'll be lucky if anyone comes to get you. Finally, the flames won't kill you but if you try to get too close in an attempt to escape then I'll just assume that you don't like your body and your life." His voice suddenly switched to a serious tone as he added that last part.

After explaining all that to him, he proceeded to make his way out of the fire prison.

"No, please, wait!"

Seth wanted to grab him by his leg and plead with all his heart, but before he could get his hand there, a burst of flames quickly burst through from the floor, and by the time it cleared up, Arsha was already out of the flames.

The second-year student was staring at his creation from outside now with an amused look on his face.

"Took half of my already low mana to make this, but I guess it's worth it for the purpose of giving them what they deserve."

Just after saying that, his mind shifted to the timid friend who was crying on the floor before he left.

"I hope he learns to speak for himself and back down from things he doesn't want to do after today."

With that said, he turned around and continued his walk down the road.
