Night still falls in the end even though the wait feels very long for David and Charlotte.
And waiting for the night wasn't so restful for them either as they ran into acquaintances twice.
"Let's go, by now the hotels should have just tidied up their rooms," Charlotte said suddenly when the sun had just set.
Her impatience was only getting more exaggerated.
However, David did not immediately stand up from his chair.
He called the waiter again.
The waiter was quite surprised that David and Charlotte sat for so long.
This practically cost them money as one table took hours without finishing.
If it wasn't for the fact that they are a restaurant that takes aesthetics very seriously. They would have kicked David and Charlotte out already.
To the waiter, David ordered dinner.
Charlotte who didn't seem to be hungry anymore wrinkled her forehead.
"Why are you ordering food again?" she asked.
