Chương 3: Synchronization
Once they came to the arena they saw there were many obstacles, targets some heavy practice dummies and all.
Once they were in range, Mo Chen gave the bracelet to Ouyang Long. He has another bracelet in the hand.
Mo Chen " Please wear the bracelet, once you are ready, you can click on the blue gem on the bracelet."
As Ouyang Long pressed the gem, an huge humanoid figure appeared before him. But, there were no swords and turrets up on it. It was just the humanoid figure. It was in blue paint representing the Ouyang Yang's color.
Ouyang Long "Mr Mo, where are his weapons."
Mo Chen "I will install them later, you are not yet familiar on its operations, you should not touch weapons for now."
Ouyang Long nodded.
Mo Chen "Then Mr Ouyang, swipe your bracelet next to the the belt of knight." as Ouyang Long did that, the armor of the mecha slit upside and there was additional layer which split sidewards like lift door. Then he saw the inner compartment. There were some handles and pedals, which he didn't understand.After the compartment became open, the mecha kneeled down on a knee, whic created a leeway for him to enter inside.
Mo Chen "Mr Ouyang Long, you can get into it and sit on it I will come and help you."Ouyang Long went inside and sat on the seat arrangement there, but he didn't feel comfortable sitting on it and looked like he will fall down. As he was feeling uncomfortable. Mo Chen came there and set the user seat properly and there was a frame that made him fixed to his seat, then one by one arranged the foot pedals, hand control setup, display set up and all.
Mo Chen "I understand you will feel littl uncomfortable now as you can't sit properly.It is meant to be this way, you are not supposed to sit to comfortable while operating, your hands and legs should be active You will be controling mecha with all parts."
Mo Chen "When you want to move using legs you should control the pressure using your legs, so you should be stable and not exert too much pressure while moving.. Similarly for hands you can switch controls manually or through voice suggestions." He then explained step by step on how to operate and then explained everyknob and button in the mecha."
Mo Chen "Now you can try operating it. This mecha has autopilot mode, when you feel you can't control normally, use it." Saying that he left the mecha as the panels of the mecha closed.
Then Mo Chen summoned, another mecha the Black Centaur. He first made Ouyang Yue sit on the copilot seat and he sat in pilot seat.
Ouyang Yue felt very different feeling when she sat inside the co pilot seat. She saw few controls but she know they are useless .
Ouyang Yue "Why are their two seats here?" she asked curiously.
Mo Chen "Centaur is of super heavy category . It is complete all round mech, a single person will not be able to operate him.
Ouyang Yue " Then why are you using this one." she asked she thought it was Mo Chen't mech.
Mo Chen "It was just to show you around, are you planning to stay outside with a mech, which is being driven by novice." As he said that Ouyang Yue tried to walk using the knight, but he kept on stumbling. Mo Chen then walked towards him and was giving instructions on how to do.
Ouyang Long finally understand why Mo Chen asked him to come here for a week, it is to familiarize him with its operation.
It took almost one whole sessionas he became familiar with walking. Then Mo Chen gave few more exercises to operate the mech. By the end of the day, he was able to run around in the mech.
After complete day of piloting the mech, Ouyang Long was tired as dog, but he was ecstatic, he has some unterstanding of the power of mech. He thought of all possibilities he can do with this beast.
In dinner time,
Ouyang Long "Mo Chen what is the synchronization value it is displayed on the display and other values."
Mo Chen "It is the value how proficient you are in controlling the mecha and how much power mech is fighting."
Mo Chen "Suppose, you have 40% synchronization, mech will only use 40% of its powere and limits, so that you will not loose control."
Ouyang Long "Mine is displaying only 3%."
Mo Chen "That is expected, you are just starting and you are not adapt in controlling it."
Mo Chen "Even if you familiar with all operations and use for combat, you will not have more than 40% while starting, only once you perfected it will it reach 100%. Once you reach 100% it is limit of this machine.So, then we will upgrade the mech. Then it will have capability to fight equal to silver level."
Mo Chen "Don't worry about it now. You are still long way to go. Even if you reach 50% you can easily fight advance bronze level beasts easily."
Mo Chen explained one by one.
Ouyanang Yue then remembered the display of Mo Chen, it was full. She had a hunch that he is definitely not that simple.
It has been a week since Ouyang Long came to the shop, he is already proficient in operating the mech, his synchronization value already 44%.
Ouyang Yue left the second day as she felt she was not needed here.
Mo Chen "Mr Ouyang, now you are familiar with all the configurations and weapons of 'The Knight' have you decided on the weapons.
Ouyang Long nodded, he already familiar with weapons and he already has a plan in mind.

Ouyang Long "RL"

Soon all the configurations were done.
A brand new mech was ready for Ouyang Long.
