Glossary

BEASTS:

Wild Beasts - animals without sentience. At the bottom of Beast World's food chain. Source of meat and beast core that holds beast essence.

Savage Beasts (Kuri) - beasts who are driven by their lust and carriers of parasitic seeds that affect females and suck the jewel essence of infected beastmen. (i.e. Trolls, Orcs, Ogres, etc.)

Beastmen - beasts with sentience who have the ability to morph into their human form.

Classification:

Shira - females who are contracted by a Kuri's parasitic seeds.

Kigen - younglings of beastmen under a hundred years old. It's a period from birth until they reach adulthood.

Jewel-wielder Beastmen (Bijou) - Carries a jewel source on random parts of their body that hold jewel essence.

Ranked based on their jewel streaks - Tetra to Ennea (4-9)

Can temporarily morph into their half-human form using their jewel essence except for some species.

Magical Beast (Beiru) - Realm higher than bijou. Can transform into a full human form at will and navigate along the clouds. Treated as a nobility of their kind. A stage where the jewel source begins to evolve into a jewel core.

Great Demon (Qixin) - A noble existence in the Beast World. A great being who owns a territory. Has the ability to influence weather and atmosphere to a certain degree. Successfully forms a jewel core in their body.

ESSENCE - the energy used by beastmen to survive and make a breakthrough.

Places:

Ilhu Mountains - backwater area in the Northern region. One of the sanctuaries of Kigens and Bijous

Graneia - The City of Beasts, located in the Central Plains, South of Ilhu Mountains

Seto - A lush green plains bound to Graneia, where most plant-eaters migrate during the winter season.
