Midori pushed the door open and slammed it shut behind her urgently.
Mai came downstairs from Midori's bedroom, carrying Ame in her arms. Shocked by the loud noises outside, the baby had been startled into tears.
"Ojou-sama, something bad is happening," Mai said with a hint of panic. "What should we do?"
"There is a riot," Midori quickly informed Mai. "Where is Yuri-san?"
As if on cue, Yuri tumbled downstairs with several big bags, one of them full of Ame's baby items.
"Young Madam, we need to leave on the spot," she said. "We can leave through the back door. The rioters have yet to branch out from the main street."
All three women gave a shriek when more stones hailed onto their rooftop.
"Okay, back door, now, now!" Midori cried out.
Yuri was already halfway toward the back door when she suddenly froze on the spot, her lips slightly ajar and her eyes widened in shock.
