Midori was waiting for the car from Takigawa mansion to arrive when an unknown car pulled up in front of her unexpectedly.

She expected someone to step out of the car, but no one did.

Instead, the car window at the back row rolled down and revealed Mai, her personal maid -- gagged and tied, with tears streaming down her face.

Eyes widened in shock, Midori approached the car and exclaimed, "Mai, what happened to you???"

The front window rolled down as well, revealing a muscular man in a kimono the color of darkness.

He shot her a glance and said, "Miss Midori Takigawa, will you please enter the car? Our leader wishes to meet with you."

Midori crossed her arms before her chest and glowered at the unknown man.

"Release Mai, and then we can talk!"

The man shook his head.

"Apologies, our leader is waiting elsewhere. Please go in, Miss. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee this maid's safety."
