{Lianna}
The road to Garriden stretched out before them, winding through lush countryside and rolling hills.
Lianna leaned against the window of the carriage, her gaze fixed on the quaint rural city that lay ahead. Buildings of wood and stone dotted the landscape, their architecture so incredibly different from the metallic grandeur of Telvan.
"It's beautiful!" Lianna breathed, her voice filled with wonder. "I don't think I've ever seen this many trees!"
Enverna sat across from her, her expression distant as she stared out at the passing scenery. There was a bittersweetness to her gaze, a mixture of nostalgia and apprehension that Lianna couldn't quite decipher.
Turning to Enverna, Lianna furrowed her brow in concern.
"What's wrong?"
Enverna sighed, her eyes returning to Lianna's face.
"It's nothing, Lianna. Just... memories."
Lianna reached out, laying a comforting hand on Enverna's arm.
