Chương 31: Cold Night 1

JIN LING'S POV

I went after the carriage which had hijacked ming mei early and it hasn't been easy. Having to hide each time spot them stopping, turning or suddenly slowing down.

I was slightly in panic, why exactly would they try to kidnap her, she was just a child. What exactly was their aim?

After the whole day, they finally settled on their destination and iit wasn't in a really good place as they carried ming mei into the deep forest near the villages, which was over two miles away from the villages.

I hid in the dark bush as I watched the cottage which wasn't that far from where I hid. All I just hoped was for Ming mei to be safe.

Soon it became quite dark and so I began my rescue plan. I first had to find a way to enter without anyone noticing then quickly take ming mei and leave before dawn.
