[AN: Got network connection. I'm travelling with my friends to a mountain resort. I thought I will not be able to upload any chapter today due to low network range. But thankfully, I got connection from the resort Wi-Fi.

Rahakki's POV.
I was glad that Ajuka did not find anything odd about the lab when I was under induced sleep. With the recording in my hand, I'm greatly relieved.
I started to browse through Ajuka's Library for any books that I have missed two weeks prior. So far, I was able to find none. The memory palace was huge boost to my analytic thinking and muscle control. I was easily able to identify the books I have read.
After a good long search, I was only able to find 3 books. Two are novels and last one is the current history book. I was planning on taking them to my room to read. This will help me in relaxing. The memory palace really took a heavy load on my mind.
As I was on the way back, I was able to sense that my family is in the building. 'I thought Ajuka will call my family after 3 more days. Well, it works well too. I was getting bored in the lab anyway' I thought to myself.
As I was moving to the lab, I suddenly thought, 'What if I hide my presence by mimicking the surrounding demonic energy? They usually will not tell me all the important things, even it is about me. So, it is a good chance to hear about my condition and what Ajuka found out.' Anyway, Ajuka will not be able to find my demonic core. So, I would like to know what are they thinking about my condition.
3rd POV
So, he slowly crept towards the lab. He was right on time for Ajuka's explanation.
Once he started to listen, he was able to deduce that the forming of the core was misunderstood by Ajuka as his body devouring the demonic energy. He snickered to himself and thought, 'Even the most brilliant mind of underworld is not able to identify the demonic core.'
After the comment about his usage of spell, he thought, 'Oh, if you guys only knew what I can do with this core! You will be begging me to teach you how to create one for yourselves!' he gloated to himself.
Once Ajuka got to the corrosive energy, this got a shock and confused look. And he stated to scan inside his demonic core. Once he did, he was able to find some kind of energy that is far more powerful than the demonic energy. So, he thought this might be the energy that caused him to go into shock for the first 8 Months.
'Another project for me. Yay!! For the love of Satan!!! Who the hell reincarnated me and gave me a power that will harm my body!!!!' he cried to himself. And started listening to the conversation.
When he got to the mutation and holy energy part, he was stunned and got angry. Ajuka doing experiments to his body without his knowledge made him mad. If he asked, he would gladly oblige for this request. But he went ahead and did it without his consent. He started to move to the door to yell at him.
But when he got to the door, he saw the look on his family which made his anger to go down. Infact, he was not sure what to feel now. All he could see was the they were shocked and but then started to listen to Ajuka's explanation. He wanted to go there and yell at them, asking them to question Ajuka about this breach of trust. But something inside him told that if he went there, he will never get a chance to listen to what was going on.
So, with great effort, he reigned in his anger and started to listen to their conversation. He found a hidden spot where he can look at them but will not be seen. He continued to mimic the surrounding demonic energy to hide himself.
But as the conversation went on, he was breaking from inside out. All the points discussed were regarding his training method but was misunderstood for self-defense mechanism. But he is just a kid and he has the strength of a High Low-class devil. How would a baby have a strength of an Ultimate-class devil.
As they continued to discuss, he was able to understand that they are only concerned about the bloodline and the out break of the so-called corrosive energy.
He then started to questioning himself that,
'Was it really the correct Gremory family that he was born into?'
'Was it the same Gremory family that treats their servants as their own family?'
'Or was it only for the servants that this privilege is meant to be?'
'Was it the same Vanelena that loved her children with all her being?'
'Was it...

Was it...'
All that was going through his mind was that,
'6 months... Tests again... southern territory.... Abandoned... Survive... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive.... Abandoned... Survive'
He was broken out of his musing by the laugh from the group. Unknowingly, I there were tears flowing out of his eyes. His body was shaking from the sheer sadness and lonliness.
He asked to no one, 'I just wanted a loving family... was it too much to ask... I did not want anything.... Just wanted a loving family that I can depend on... was it so hard to get someone to love you for who you are... Was it? Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....Was it?....'
He wanted to yell louder. But with great restraint he held himself back. When he heard that he will get the evil pieces, he was actually relieved. He thought they will deprive him of this but atleast they were kind enough to give him the tool to survive and find some trusted companions. This kind off eased him a bit.
But everything broke down when they spoke about erasing his memories as a simple thing. When he saw the look on his family's face, the last shred of hope vanished. It seems he is just another devil that can be used as a cannon fodder.
All the anger and sadness just vanished. All that left was a numbing feeling. It was like seeing himself after his previous life's parents and siblings beat the shit out of him and left him for dead. It was like his heart died out of feelings.
He slowly cleaned himself and moved to the library. He did not want them to find out he heard everything. He assumed that they will immediately erase his memory and send him to the southern territory or keep him for testing and send him to south as a husk of a being or worst yet, they will just off him and forget that he was ever born.
All he wanted was to die and vanish away but, a small ember of voice inside his head was telling him that he has to live. He has to live and live so well that this family will come crawling back to him for his acceptance.
He wanted them to suffer like he did right now. He wanted to them to feel the same pain that he was feeling. But in all of his thought never once did he wanted them dead. He just wanted to make them suffer and make them understand that all actions have its own consequences.
As he walked back to the library. He stated to plan. He was sure that he will not awaken any bloodline. Even if he awakes, he will find a way to destroy it. He now found out how Akeno feels. The bloodline that this family cared about brought disgust to him.
So, first thing he will not give anything to this family. He will just help them in the future when Rias get into some trouble. That does not mean he will treat her as his family. It was just a debt that they raised him for 8 years if you count the time that they will keep him for finding out if he has any bloodline.
As for the caretaker and the resource that they provide, he will have to see if it was worth it after taking a look at the southern territory. If it was worth it, he will provide them with some self-made spell and if not, he will just stick to helping them here and there. From now on this is just a business relationship.
If it was someone else, they would surely runaway from home right now. But his adult mind know that this is not an ideal path. It will get him killed soon. So, he wanted to bide his time.
Also, if someone with weak mind was in this position, they will see to that this family suffers a fate worse than death. But in his previous life, the sweet grandma next door advised him when he was in the same situation.
*Flashback starts*
After getting beaten to a pulp and got admitted in the hospital, he was feeling that they should've just let him die there. But since they saved him, he will make sure that he will make his family face the same fate as himself.
The grandma nearby saw the look and said to him, "Kiddo, do you want to beat you family the same way that they beat you? Do you want them to face the same fate as you? Do you want them to suffer like you are suffering right now?"
He was stunned and looked at the granny for a long time who had a gentle smile on her face. After few minutes of staring at her he just nodded.
To which the Granny asked, "What is the difference between you and them, then?"
It shocked him. He was becoming the same kind of people he hated.
"If you wanted them to suffer, make them suffer mentally. Live well, but just do the bare minimum what a family should or could do for each other. Live so well that they will regret treating you like that. Live so well that their lives feel like they are facing a fate worse than death. That is how a man takes his revenge." Granny declared.
*Flashback ends*
He was unable to do such a punishment in his previous life. But he has the chance to do that now. And he will always follow what the granny taught him. She was the only good thing that has ever happened to him. So, he will not tarnish her teaching.
So, first regarding the memory erasure. He has 2 options. One was to alter his memory by sealing todays' memory and when someone starts to so something to his mind that will unlock this memory and will have a window to prevent anyone from tampering his mind.
Second way was to create a clone of himself and use it in the place of himself. For creating a clone, he just has develop a homunculi, which was surprisingly easy. But the impossible part is that he has to program to act like himself and he has to supply energy constantly.
Both options have its own advantage and disadvantage.
He reached the library while thinking about the measures. Soon as he got into the library, he decided what option he should take and how to proceed. Then he went near the history book and laid down on the table to act like he was sleeping.
When Ajuka and the Gremorys came to the find him. He was sleeping on the table. Unknowingly, he just dosed of as his mind was strained from all the information that he received today.
So, they decided to let him sleep and will take him home the next day. He was moved to his room in Ajuka's lab and he slept till the next day. When he woke up, he was feeling kind of refreshed. But when he remembered what happened yesterday, his face went dark. But he managed to pull himself from those thoughts and started to plan what he will do from now on.
After moving to the lab, he was met with Ajuka and the Gremory's. Ajuka then said, "Remember the surprise I prepared for you" He acted like a excited Kid and nodded.
Everyone chuckled lightly and the Ajukas said, "Come this way."
He was then led to the King stone for his evil pieces.
He again acted like he was in disbelief to which Ajuka Chuckled again and said, "Go place your hand on the stone and send you demonic energy into it."
Once he placed his hands on the King stone and channeled his demonic energy, the King stone started to shine. Then Ajuka came back with a briefcase with consisting of 15 evil pieces. 1 Queen, 2 Bishop, 2 Knights, 2 Rooks and 8 Pawns.
What they did not know was that when the light shone brightly, Rahakki used the time to scan the Kings stone. He wanted to replicate the king stone in the future. He wanted to study the Kingstone and the evil pieces. He wanted his own group to have evil pieces along with the King piece. He will take every knowledge that he can and use them to develop his own system.
