The first period in Class 3 is a math class, signaling yet another round of battling wits with Teacher Chen.

An Yeran left her book with Lu Xiu; it didn't matter to her if she had it or not since she wouldn't pay attention during class anyways.

Just like always, the hallway outside the classroom was her final destination during math class.

While Teacher Chen was teaching with a piercing voice inside the class, An Yeran was dozing off outside, enveloped in the sound of music from her headphones.

The moment the bell rang marking the end of the class, she opened her eyes to head back to her seat. The sound of Teacher Chen's high heels echoed loudly across the corridor.

They encountered each other as one was entering and the other was leaving.

Looking at her, Teacher Chen scoffed, her voice dripped with a hint of sarcasm, "The midterms are coming up. You'd better pack up and move to Class 8 right away!"
