The sun shone brightly in the azure sky, with clouds hanging like cotton balls, pure white and fluffy. Beneath the horizon, the streets were full of hustle and bustle, people passing by hurriedly on the pedestrian lane, and horns and car engines filling the air.
Zarina patiently waited for twenty seconds before the traffic light turned green. As she glanced at the car's side mirror, barely a meter away from her, she nearly choked on her saliva when she saw Draymond's reflection. His hands were under his chin, his expression serious yet his eyes sparkled with an unexplainable happiness.
"Fuck!" she cursed as Draymond's eyes seemed to lock onto hers through the side mirror. Instinctively, she bowed her head, hiding herself.
It dawned on her too late that the car was tinted, and embarrassment surged within her. She let out a heavy breath and screamed in frustration.
Alas, the traffic light turned red, and Zarina stepped on the accelerator, driving swiftly.
