White-fish Island was an extension of the town with the same name.
Anurak had randomly dropped at the town's terminal after he started wandering. Probably because of his state of mind as of then, he wasn't paying much attention to his environment. Now that he was a little centered and to some extent,— relieved of his grievances, he took his time to observe everything.
From the hotel to the ferry dock was a journey of 3 kilometers. When at the ferry dock, one gets to really appreciate the beauty of the island. It was like a long piece of jagged rock with a flat surface. It was longer than it was wide, but its breath was also comparably big.
Between the Island and the mainland, there was a distance of 10 miles of seawater. At the ferry dock, there were several boats, ferries, and canoes. Both commercialized and private ones.
