Art was on the bus when it happened. It was just another day, the same as any other when Angie and her group came over. He heard whispers as they slinked toward him.

Art shrunk in his seat. They didn't think they were sitting weird, at least not particularly "gay" or anything. And his parents weren't bad, they were just fine. It wasn't their fault he was queer. It wasn't anyone's.

Just then, everyone felt a tingling burning sensation as a harsh, pink wind swept over the school bus.
