The Black Heavens, one of the Nine Heavens that exist within Murim Worldlines, usually. It is a Heaven that contains enormous quantities of darkness, a Realm of its own, which is of eternal night, thunderstorms, and the void of darkness.
Because Murim Worldlines are so massive, these Heavens are equally as gigantic, each one being a Realm of its own, where living beings are born, grow, and develop. Each Heaven has a specific color, and each color has different types of Martial Treasures and Martial Beasts.
However, what they contain the most is a Fragment of a Heavenly Will, the all-encompassing Will of the Heavens, which is, by itself, part of the Heavenly Dao refined by the Heavenly Golden Dragon.
Because of this, it has been the aim of Cultivators across many Murim Worldlines to obtain and refine a piece of such heaven and absorb their Primordial Powers. Many of them fail, dying in the process.
However, the Venerables usually manage to absorb one or more Heavens within their own Inner Realms, becoming unbeatable Heavenly Beings, Venerables!
Bestia has two Venerables, meaning that they refined one Heaven each. I can assume that the heavenly Empress refined the White or Golden Heavens and the Heavenly Demon, the Black Heavens.
However…
[The [Mechanical Factory] has summoned its ace! The [Black Heaven Android Prototype (SS+ Rank)]!]
The fact that this robot is called "Black Heaven" and is emanating an incredibly highly refined amount of black-colored Ki can only mean a few things. The worst-case scenario: the robots have somehow managed to extract tiny fragments of the Heavens that were destroyed and spread across Bestia and transplant them into the core of a new robot. And the best-case scenario: it possesses a powerful, refined Martial Core of a similar element as mine.
And I have no freaking time to check which one, because that damn thing is coming my way faster than I can think! Each of its movements leaves behind black thunderbolts.
Wait, black thunderbolts?!
Okay, it definitely has Black Heaven Ki!
"Beginning extermination of colony threat."
The robot spoke with a serious and robotic voice, reaching me within a second. Its sharp, needle-like arms, which ended on spear-like, pointy, and sharp ends, unleashed a barrage of rapid blows, which I barely defended first using Gram and then by summoning my shield.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"What the fuck?!"
It was much, much stronger than any of the robots; each blow felt so freaking strong that I was feeling my entire body tremble and my bones creak.
Holy shit, here it comes!
The damned robot kicked me away with as much force as it could.
BAAAM!
I felt my entire body twist as I was sent flying like a ragdoll, clashing against the walls behind me with a loud explosion. At the same time, hundreds of robots swarmed me, attempting to tear me to shreds. I started punching and slashing them apart as I made my way out of their grasp.
"Fucking hell! That crow-faced bastard better recognize me after this!"
I couldn't help but swear and act very bratty right now. I got pissed! These damned robots were evolving faster than I imagined. This guy is only one, but what if they make dozens, hundreds, or thousands?! Then even the Venerables will lose!
I better not lose, and I better beat that thing and destroy all the damned factories while they have yet to make more of these monstrosities.
And I need to hurry the hell up!
"You want to dance? Let's dance."
A split second later, my necklace, the [Golden Emperor's Family Necklace], and my ring, the [Martial Soldier's Ring Of Protection] activated their effects together. My body is gaining three distinct Auras of Golden Ki.
[You have activated the [Golden Emperor's Family Necklace] Special Ability [Golden Emperor's Memento]! By exchanging Ki and -500 Durability, temporarily increases the wielder's Maximum HP, Maximum KI, Strength and Vitality by +100% and enhances the Strength and Attack Speed of all Martial Arts used by the wielder by +200%. Duration: 10 Minutes.]
First, a simple golden aura resembling a golden coat over my body, which flashed with bright light, it boosted all my physical stats even higher than before.
[You have activated the [Golden Emperor's Family Necklace] Special Ability [Emperor's Ki Armor]: Your body has been covered with a translucent, golden Ki Armor that can reflect 20% of all Physical Damage Taken back to the foe as powerful physical blows in the shape of golden fists. Increases Defense by +100% and decreases all Damage Taken by -20%. Duration: 30 Minutes.]
Secondly, an armor out of my own Ki was formed, covering my body with yet another extra layer of protection. The armor was very similar to the Chinese-styled armor that Fang Shuan wore.
[You have activated the [Martial Soldier's Ring Of Protection] Special Ability [Martial Soldier's Legion Protection]: By imbuing the Ring with a decent amount of Ki and by sacrificing -250 Durability, summons a protective Aura Barrier around the wielder, in the shape of hundreds of Murim's Martial Soldiers. These soldiers will not only negate 30% of all damage taken but also attack any foe nearby, dealing +50% Damage based on your Ki Stat. Barrier Durability based on Ring's Durability x10. Duration: 10 Minutes.]
And third, a third layer of Ki Aura surged from my ring and surrounded my body. A dozen powerful soldiers made of Martial Souls surged, wearing long golden spears and golden swords, ready to fight anything.
"Exterminate the threat at all costs."
The robot appeared right in front of me a split second later, its sharp arms attacking me at lightning speed. The Black Heaven Ki Aura it had was so powerful and potent that it distorted the space of its surroundings.
I took all the hits with my armor and my arms, barely blocking anything, and then I smiled. I loved to use abilities like these for a reason. Part of the damage I took was immediately sent back at the robot, dozens of golden fists surging from my body without me doing anything.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
"UH?!"
The robot groaned; it seemed to be able to feel the intensity of the attacks as its large body was quickly pushed back. Its three crimson eyes, which were jewels of strange origin, glared at me in silence for a second before running towards me again.
Was it analyzing my abilities?
"Exterminate."
He appeared behind me at lightning speed, its arms beginning to spin like drills, black lightning surging from them. They hit me again, not only my ki armor but also my red armor beneath.
CLAAASH!
An explosion of black lightning engulfed my body, yet I didn't falter. A dozen warriors made out of my own Ki attacked the robot at the same time, channeling my powers. Spear-piercing blows, sword slashes, and even hammer blows hit it directly.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Yet…
"Weak."
Its thin, lean-looking body remained unscathed.
"I see, these guys alone won't do a thing, huh? Then fuse with me."
The soldiers nodded, their etheric bodies merging with my body, as I suddenly grew a dozen golden, etheric arms from my back. I quickly handed them the shield, my two daggers, and other weapons I had in my stash. My Aura converged with the Warriors, as I gave this technique a name.
"{Myriad-Armed Asura Aura}"
"…"
FLASH!
The robot charged against me again, its body appearing above me this time. It targeted me with its spinning legs and arms at the same time, attempting to breakthrough my defenses once more.
Yet!
"Not this time."
My two arms moved fast, with Gram and my Nameless Axe-Sword striking it first. I conjured {Cleave} from the Nameless Axe-Sword as a massive wave of crimson energy cut through the robot's technique in a flash, generating a loud sound of metal hitting metal.
CLAAANK!
The next second, the robot was sent flying as a myriad of attacks, from blazing demonic flames to freezing holy ice, and even Gram's light and darkness slashes covered its entire body. And if that wasn't enough, every other fist of these warriors channeled the {Golden Dragon's Fist} technique.
It was an explosion of countless attacks; the robot was sent flying into the skies, hitting the ceiling, and then falling back down again. One of its arms had broken apart, and the rest of its body had tiny cracks.
"Inconceivable levels of damage… Beginning frenzy mode."
"Frenzy mode?!"
FLASH!
The robot's entire body flashed with bright red light; the Black Heaven Aura it exuded encompassed it entirely. Although it was unable to recover from the damage, it activated something else, a new power.
Its three red jewels absorbed the red energy, and then, as I should have expected, it fired a devastating red beam, which hit the ground with a loud, blazing explosion.
My Undead were instantly vaporized as the beam moved towards me; the robot was floating in midair too, capable of levitation.
As I moved towards it, the beam hit me after the robot had fun killing my minions.
BOOOM!
I shielded myself with my dragon shield and took as much damage as possible with it. The intensity of the beam only kept growing as the robot continued firing the beam endlessly.
The shield constantly absorbed the damage, beginning to glow redder as it was overheating itself! Can this even melt against this level of heat?!
"Extermination is in process. You will be... eliminated."
As the robot seemed to gain joy in seeing me being pushed back without any option but to tank their blows, a golden silhouette appeared behind it. A giant cat maw smashed its head down with a huge explosion of light, its small body collapsing on the ground and small cracks appearing over its body.
BAAAM!
"Mereow!"
The Primordial Beast appeared, rushing towards the Black Heaven robot. The robot greeted her with his giant needle arms, and a barrage of attacks was intercepted by the cat's claws, which moved rapidly as if it were using martial arts for cats only!
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
As invested as I was in the exchange of blows, we didn't have time to waste, and the kitty was only holding it in place. I couldn't risk the primordial beast taking damage either.
"Fuck it!"
Combining the Ki Essence of my Physique, my Inner Core, and my Cosmic Energy together, I recreated a technique I had once used against Blednica, which was with the Thanatos Scythe that was now more than broken into pieces.
The power of Thousand Blades gathered within both Gram and the Nameless Axe-Sword, the accumulated blade ki slashes growing in size as two enormous, ten-meter-tall black swords surged from both weapons at once.
"{Thousand Blades}: {Dual Nether Star Arc}!"
SLAAASH! SLAAASH!
Two deadly slashes came towards the robot at the same time, resembling a giant scissor about to cut it into two halves. The robot immediately detected the danger, leaping into the skies and then firing several red beams towards me, thinking it had evaded the attack.
Yet, as I shielded myself with the shield, the blade waves quickly moved upwards, cutting the robot's arms cleanly, before hitting the ceiling and exploding, spreading black miasma and light.
BOOOM!
"GAH…?!"
The robot seemed to panic; its artificial intelligence was certainly much smarter and more complex than the other robots. Its red jewels shone brightly, and black clouds suddenly encompassed its entire body.
"Critical damage was detected. Entering Black Heaven mode forcefully."
RUMBLE!
The black clouds rumbled, black lightning surging from them endlessly. The robot flew directly towards me, charging its black electricity and firing it constantly. Explosions of black lighting from the Black Heaven fragment it possessed chased me down as I started running in circles and then kicking the air.
"You're using that Black Heaven Fragment rather terribly! Let me alleviate you of its weight!"
As I roared with all my might, my Asura Aura activated once more, all of the arms unleashing dozens of {Divine Dragon Fists} against the robot. The black clouds shrouding it attempted to block the incoming fists, but my two weapons, Gram and the Nameless Axe-Sword quickly cut through the black clouds, both weapons overflowing with Celestial Ki.
"{Thousand Blades}: {Eclipsing Moon Arc}! {Eclipsing Sun Slash}!"
SLAAASH!
My entire body spun in midair as a giant arc of Gray Blade Ki was released from both of my weapons at once, clashing against the robot once more, its black heaven clouds being cut completely.
The second attack came right after: a vertical slash of sunlight and abyssal Ki, hitting its headless torso. The pressure of the two blows alone generated countless cracks through its body.
Crack, crack…!
"Now or never!"
I weaved all three layers of Ki around my body and spun them, quite literally becoming a human drill. With both weapons in front of me, I clashed against the robot's torso, its cracks spreading further and pieces of black metal exploding out as zaps of black electricity constantly hit me, attempting to fry me alive.
"Not fucking enough, bastard!"
My body slightly turned electric itself as I activated my [Thunder Queen] and [Spectral Body] Skills together, using the thunder parts of my body to absorb the Black Heaven's Lightning and resist it better.
Crack, crack…!
I kept pushing within those seconds, and the cracks finally opened up. The robot panicked; red beams were fired against me.
"ERROR… ERROR… INMINENT DESTRUCTION DETECTED…!"
However, it was too late.
"Enough!"
Crack, crack…!
BOOOM!
It didn't shatter into pieces, it exploded.
