Since Li Tian was carried along with his mother and was forced to leave his training grounds, the little baby could only focus on training his Perception and Mandarin Proficiency for now. On today's adventure, the mother and children group had entered the Li Clan's library. Inside, contained a vast array of books. It was not an understatement to say that the number of books in this room could rival some national libraries in the state. The inside of the library was dimly lit as natural light tend to spoil the books and scriptures stored in here. As the group walked inside, echoes resounded from how large the place was. Li Xian hushed her twins quiet as they were making a lot of noise. Although this library was usually empty as it was only open for the family, Li Xian respected the calmness in this space and wanted her children to do so too.
Walking past the tens of rows that contained books and scripture, the group finally reached the children's book area. The space here was secluded in the library, with more natural lighting and sound proofing. This space was more comfortable for the children as there was even an enclosed glass porch area for the children to sit by and read some books. Li Xian started to help pick out some books for the twins. She left Li Tian to herself as she wasn't afraid of him going missing in the enclosed room.
Li Xian had brought the twins and Li Tian here the other day. The twins were at the age where they were more interested in looking at the pictures in the picture books, while Li Tian was busy crawling around the space. As such, she had brought in a few scrolls to read when the twins and Li Tian were busy with their own thing. The group of four usually sat in a circular seating area that was built into the ground. The glass dome ceiling brought in enough natural light for everyone to read comfortably. What Li Xian did not know was that when she was reading her scrolls, her little baby boy was secretly looking over her shoulder and reading with her. At times Li Xian would think that her son was just clinging onto her mother and just wanted her attention. She would place Li Tian on her lap and continue reading. Li Tian would obediently sit still and let her carry on with her reading.
With Li Tian's SSS Tier Intelligence, the baby boy had a photographic memory that could remember things he had seen with great precision. The scroll that Li Xian was reading today was a different one from last time. Last round, Li Tian's Mandarin Proficiency prevented him from gaining anything useful from the scriptures as it was all ancient Chinese characters. This time, however, the scroll contained some pictures. Li Tian's eyes shone while looking at them. From his interpretation, it seems to be a scroll that is explaining the concepts of Qi gathering. There were blue lines that seem to represent Qi being directed towards a tiny human body.
As Li Tian had studied some biology in the past, the baby boy could recognize the flow of the Qi in the body. Li Tian noticed that there are 12 organs that were highlight in the tiny human body. He also remembers from his anime that there were 12 meridians in the body. 'Could this likely mean that the 12 organs are the 12 meridians in the body?'
Based on the image, absorption of Qi begins in the nose as it travels down to the lungs. This was where the Qi cycle begins. From the lungs, the Qi moves to the large intestine, followed by the stomach, then to the spleen, heart, small intestine, bladder, kidney, pericardium, triple energizer, gall bladder, liver and finally, back to the lungs. The process looked like that, but Li Tian himself was not sure if his assumption was correct.
Inside the little infant's head, a familiar sound rang. Ding…

[As your constitution currently falls below the required threshold, the hidden mission 'Qi Circulation' remains temporarily locked. Raise all Stats attributes to the E tier to initiate the unlocking process.]
Seeing all the system's descriptions, Li Tian's face revealed a look of satisfaction. It seems he had struck the jackpot. Every anime he had watched that had to do with Chinese martial arts required their practitioners to do Qi circulation. This step was the foundation of martial arts. With this, Li Tian knew that him acquiring this mission had enabled him to kickstart this martial arts career faster than all his peers. Even though he has no aspirations to become the greatest martial practitioner in the future, back in the old world, Li Tian would always imagine what it would feel like to be like the characters in the anime. Now, he would finally get the chance to experience it himself.
'System, if the mission is temporarily locked, does it mean that the time left will not decrease until it is unlocked?' Li Tian realized this was a very important question that he needed to be answered. After all, the failure for completion was death.
[Time left will continue to decrease even when mission is locked.]
Li Tian received the unfortunate news and chose not to despair over it. As he was not able to attain anymore missions from the scripture that Li Xian was reading, Li Tian escaped from his mother's grasps and proceeded to crawl once again. His current goal now? Raise all Stats up to the E tier! The crawling mission soon became a means of him improving his constitution. He needed to quickly unlock the Qi circulation mission for fear of the consequences. What he needed to do now was pick up the pace in improving his Perception and Agility. Those two Stats are falling behind his Strength and Stamina.
To understand his body better, Li Tian focused on the muscles in his body. With every stride, Li Tian would notice which muscle was contracting and which was relaxing. From his previous world, the famous boxing coach in the anime, 'Boxing Mania' had once said to the little budding MC (Main Character), "Understand your body first before anything else. Your opponent? Your environment? Those are secondary until you have fully grasped the intricacies in your own body!".
Li Tian saw meaning in this quote as he linked '1 + 1 = 2' together. The Stat Perception should not only mean external perception. Rather, internal perception is equally important. Li Tian could grasp hints from the 'Qi Circulation' mission. 'Since Perception is required to be Tier E, this means I require a base line understanding of my body, before even being able to circulate Qi within it.'
Li Tian could tell that the SSS Tier Intelligence has increased his comprehension ability too. Things that were not explicitly explained to him, Li Tian could just perceive it himself. From afar, although Li Xian had her eyes on her scripture, the kind and loving mother had long spread a portion of her consciousness throughout the room. Afraid that her little baby would accidentally topple books over, Li Xian's body was prepared to react if there is ever a need for it. In her eyes, her little son seemed brighter and nimbler than her twins.
And just like that, the second month ever since the crawling mission, had ended. Similarly, Li Tian had also crossed the E tier threshold for both his Strength and Stamina. With it, Li Tian had managed to complete five minutes of crawling under the amazement of Li Xian. Utterly shocked by her son's stamina, Li Xian picked up her baby and showered him with kisses.
"Oh, who's my talented baby? You are! Mua mua mua!"
Li Xian's kisses rendered Li Tian speechless. This was the first time he had experienced being kissed so many times, much less with his own mother. Still, he enjoyed and loved the accompaniment of his mother. Maybe it was because Li Xian was the one that given birth to him, Li Tian's closeness to her did not lessen even though he himself was originally a grown man.
