"Did you know that the human body is actually made up of several layers?"
Wira Usada began his lesson to Nalini and Arya Dipa. The two youngsters looked at each other and then shook their heads slowly. This was the first time they had heard that.
"No, Grandfather. All I know is that the human body is what is visible, what can be seen, held and felt." Nalini demonstrated touching her body and rubbing her cheeks with her hands.
Wira Usada smiled at this. The old man then turned his gaze to Arya Dipa. Knowing that he was also being asked for his opinion, the young man could only shake his head slowly.
"I've heard about it a little, the lesson about the subtle human body. But, what I remember then, are only stories of ghosts and the like, disembodied creatures that come to frighten and disturb humans."
Wira Usada stroked his white beard and gave a small nod at Arya Dipa's response.
