And as he did, the area around the ground where the staff was pointed began to glow with a yellow color that similar to the color of fire, and the glow started spreading around, creating a huge circle-shaped glow.
[summon orgin fire element]
the spell's incantation came from Flin's mouth, and as it did, the whole fiery circle began to ignite. The ignition slowly spread throughout the circle, and suddenly...
Crick!
With a crashing sound, the inside of the circle area began to crumble. Abruptly, the interior of the circle collapsed and fell, revealing a complete pool of lava.
From the center of the pool , lava slowly began to rise towards the roof level of the grand hall, and from it, a huge fire spirit appeared.
As the fire spirit appeared, it stepped out from the giant pool of lava. The massive amount of lava, which had risen up to the roof level to make way for the fire spirit, slowly fell down and vanished, leaving the pool of lava still present.
After emerging from the pool, the fire spirit looked around the area, scanning for its summoner, which was Flint. Once it located him, the spirit turned its attention towards Flint, awaiting orders.
"Is this your strongest spell?" asked Incarus, looking at the giant fire spirit.
"No, my lord, this is not my strongest spell, but this is one of my strong spells," Flint replied while kneeling.
Seeing the master who summoned it kneeling, the fire spirit turned its attention toward the direction where its master had kneeled.
Because the only one it focused on when it appeared was its summoner, the giant spirit failed to notice Icarus and others who were also at the same hight as him.
As the fire spirit turned around and met it's gaze Incarus, the spirit felt a tremendous weight on its shoulders. The pressure emanating from Incarus managed to overwhelm the fire spirit and eventually put it in a kneeling position.
"So, how strong is it?" inquired Incarus.
"It's a 5th-tier fire element , my lord."
"And this is my strongest summoning spell," Flint replied.
"ho," curious, Incarus began to observe the fire spirit.
"And is Tier 5 strong?" he asked.
"Tier 5 is the highest level that an elemental summoner can achieve, my lord, and it's only because of your blessing that I managed to reach this far," Flint replied.
[No, they don't have any similarity to the ones we summon in the realm of Avlora.]
When Leviathan first saw Flint, he thought that the magic from the realm of Avlora might also exist here, but he soon realized that it did not.
[And I don't have any clue what this Flint guy is talking about, blessings from us. That's the most illogical thing I've heard since I was born here.]
[Not to mention blessings, I don't even know how to use my own power.] sighed leviathan inwardly.
[Maybe he has an answer for it,] thought leviathan, turning his attention toward Incarus.
"Aside from fire, what are the other elements?" asked Incarus.
"Other than fire, there's four main elements, which include fire, water, wind, and earth. There are also rare elementalists who can wield the element of light, and there also exist very, extremely few, TIME elementalists.
Aside from that, I don't have any knowledge of any other elements that exist, my lord," Flint replied.
"But, my lord, forgive me for asking, don't you know everything about magic in this world? Because we only managed to acquire this magical power because of you. I thought my lord would know about all of this," Flint asked without showing any disrespect.
For thise questions, Incarus took a few moments to answer because he knew they didn't have anything to do with the powers these people possessed.
However, if he told them the truth, it could cause a problem for him and his authority. So he decided to lie. But the one who did answer was not him.
"No, we don't have any knowledge about the magic that exists in this world. We only bless you, which allows you to use magic, and the what kind of magic you get is depends on you," answered Fafnir.
With Fafnir's answer, Flint had an understanding look. And At the same time, it gave him a little self-satisfaction. If what Fafnir said is true and the kind of magic one can get depends on the person, that means all the things he has now were acquired through his efforts.
With complacency in himself, Flint awaited his next order from Incarus .
"You can go now," Incarus commanded to him, and with that, Flint left the grand hall.
"It's just like before, because they don't have a clear understanding of what happening, they guess the easiest answer for their problem, which is us," said Acedia.
"I agree with Ace too. This is my first time seeing a summoned fire spirit like that, and it's almost at the same height as us, but it's so much weaker," Preta replied.
"I'd like to know more about this world's magic. It's true that they are much weaker compared to us, but I have a hunch that they have the potential to be of some use to us," commented Incarus.
"If so, then why didn't you ask more from Flint?" Timant asked him.
"I have a feeling that if we used him for our purposes, it could lead to problems. He has a gaze of cunningness. And from what happened just before, he clearly had the courage to ask about our knowledge of magic directly from us. If someone like him somehow gets to know that we have nothing to do with their magic gaining and empowerment, it will cause problems, so he will be dismissed," replied incarus.
