I woke up early the next day. My wife even woke up with me very early even if it was the weekend just to make sure that everything would go according to the plan. 

I immediately went out to meet my mother in front of our former house.

She acted like a cool old woman as she jumped off the roof and eagerly met me.

I showed her the money and her face was delighted. 

I pulled the money bag before she could even grab it. 

"Give me back my wife's ring," I demanded. 

She chuckled and got the ring from her pocket.
