Chương 27: Meeting Grandparents
Linda left Fiona alone..
"I will not let her take William away from me, no matter whatd!" thought Fiona and clenched her fist.
Linda was one her way when she kept thinking about Fiona, what she told her.
"Ihave to be careful, and should maintain my distance from Fiona.
[ In the house ]
" sis-in-law welcome back!" suddenly called out Darwin.
" oh hi Darwin. 'said Linda and went upstairs. her face was gloomy.
" what happened to her bro?" asked Darwin to William.
"who knows?" said William who was busy working on his laptop.
" hey bro... how can you stay calm when your wife is upset !!"
"if it matters to you. you can go and ask her."
"come on she is your wife."
"fine... " sighed William and then leaving his work he went to check on Linda..
[Linda's room ]
"well I think I should tell him. after all he is my friend now." said Linda, when Wlliam came to her. "what's up.. you dont look good. " asked William.
"actually l want to tell you that... after three days there is a seminar and I am invited.. so " asked Linda,she was hesitating.
"yes yes you can go, but why you asked me?"
"forgot we are pals now. so shouldn't I ask you once as your friend. " said Linda.
"yes sure." said William.. patting on her head. and then he went down stairs... saying that, " tomorrow we have to go. so get up early."
after William left. Linda quickly closed the door and sat down. then she touched her head. and she blushed.
[ Next day ]
They were sitting in the car.. Linda seemed a bit nervous, because it was her first time seeing William's grandparents.
William placed his hands over Linda's hand and nodded his head. to show that 'no need to worry
after a long journey. they reached the Jones villa. outside the villa grand pa and grandma were waiting.
"Grandmaaaa!! " Darwin called her out and went to hug her.
"you brat! you don't miss me at all, see how tall you've grown up." said grandma.
"William. come here, come here child. " called out grandpa.
"'yes grandp" "I don't want to see you!! move side show me my granddaughter-in-law. " said grandpa.
Linda who was standing at the back of William came to grandpa. she was dressed formally but still looking like a little gir..
"oh my my, she is the granddaughter-in-law?!" grandma was surprised... because she was very kind looking and beautiful and modest too .. she was a perfect match for William. in the eyes of grand parents..
"hello grandparents... greetings from Linda." said Linda, Bowing down.
" its ok child come inside, come. " said the grandpa.
" brother.. I feel abandoned.. after sis-in-law arrived here." whispered Darwin to William.
" cough. cough... me too. " said William and they all went inside the villa.
"Linda come here... let me have a look at my child.. " said grandma.
'ok grandma. " said Linda and sat beside grandma.
" oh!! so any plans for my great grand children." asked grandma.
" cough.. cough... " William was choked while drinking water.
