Chương 93: Chapter 93: Obsession Issues

Cybertron, once a vibrant planet, hadChapter become a celestial wasteland. Decaying metal fragments drifted through space, remnants of what had been crushed by H'el's might.

H'el sat in one corner of Cybertron, his jet-black hair disheveled in zero gravity. His long and thick black lashes framed black pupils that mirrored the sun. With a straight nose, perfectly proportioned lips, and an imposing face, his appearance exuded an aura of strength, as if he were a pillar holding up the heavens. Yet, he also carried an unspoken arrogance that defied understanding.

Sitting on the edge of Cybertron, he faced the cosmic void. His elbows rested on his thighs, his ten fingers interlaced beneath his nose, and his eyes showed a reflection of the sun, filled with a sense of desolation.

Since arriving in the DC Universe, he had never felt lost. Every step had been a meticulous process: entering the Academy, considering Jor-El as his father, inventing by utilizing the characteristics of the three-headed octopus's stomach for his graduation assignment, forming alliances with influential figures, guiding the common people, and becoming the hope of the masses. He had cloned the Kryptonian elites, manipulated Jor-El, escaped Krypton, and successfully obtained the true physical power of a Kryptonian.

He had never anticipated that, upon reaching the limits of Kryptonian physicality, he would descend into madness like a lunatic.

His black cloak billowed behind him like waves in space.

Deep within Cybertron, Megatron, with his crimson-red optics, moved forward in a state of weightlessness. Flames emitted from his feet as he approached H'el from behind. He knelt on one knee, bowing his head before H'el once again.

If there were any other choice, Megatron would never willingly bow his head to H'el. But there was no choice.

Having already killed Quintessa, and with H'el, who even Unicron had avoided, how could he hide in a corner of Cybertron without H'el knowing? To stay hidden would likely result in H'el destroying Cybertron as collateral damage. By choosing to reveal himself, Megatron might have a slight chance of survival.

"Hey, do you think I'm powerful?"

H'el suddenly asked, releasing his interlocked fingers from beneath his nose and shifting his gaze away from the sun. His perplexed eyes shimmered with curiosity.

He looked at his own right hand and gently rubbed his fingers together, feeling the subtle texture of his fingertips. Each touch between his fingertips allowed him to tangibly sense his own existence.

"Master, there is no doubt that you are a formidable individual," Megatron replied in a deep voice, his eyes emitting a red glow, relieved in his heart.

He didn't understand why H'el suddenly seemed moved, but among the three masters he had served, H'el was undoubtedly the strongest.

"In what way am I strong?" H'el inquired.

"In every way," Megatron replied. "From your arrival on Earth, where you utilized human technology to carve protons, discovered the AllSpark, studied Transformers and harnessed the power of the AllSpark, to killing Optimus Prime, creating the Sevenfold Golden Barrier, destroying the Star Harvester, setting traps for those seeking to destroy it, defeating the Fallen, and ignoring Quintessa as she absorbed the power of Unicron, until eventually even scaring latter away from fighting you. Every action you've taken has been a step towards accumulating the fruits of victory, showcasing your profound wisdom and unwavering determination."

"Oh, I thought you might mention my colossal physical power," H'el suddenly realized, his eyes snapping out of their reverie. He furrowed his brow with a hint of seriousness as he casually responded.

He had expected Megatron to praise the might of his Kryptonian heritage, but he actually had taken a different route to remind him.

"Why did I become obsessed?"

"Even without this body, your wisdom, planning, and mindset would still grant you immense power, making you a formidable individual," Megatron replied with a sense of realization.

He couldn't help but feel a connection to the words he was speaking to H'el. In fact, they applied to himself as well.

Megatron's dream had always been to conquer the universe. Every step and action he had taken was part of his plan to achieve universal dominance. He firmly believed that on the path to conquering the universe, he would undoubtedly become a strong and triumphant individual. He possessed the resolute attitude and strategic intelligence needed for success. Unfortunately, his ambitions had often been thwarted by Optimus Prime, imprisoning his dreams within the confines of Cybertron.

Now, things were different. Most of those stronger than him on Cybertron were gone, and while he felt a profound sense of regret, it didn't extinguish his determination to continue his quest for universal conquest.

This mindset was characteristic of a true strong-willed individual—unafraid of failure, relentless, resourceful, and steadfast, step by step, toward ultimate success.

Megatron believed that H'el possessed the mindset of a true strong-willed individual, which was why he had his current power. It wasn't the body that made him, but rather his inherent qualifications to control it.

H'el had never doubted his determination to attain immense power and had consistently acted upon it.

From his past life, filled with mundane struggles, suffocated by societal pressures, drowning in debts, social obligations, and endless gossip, H'el had felt the overwhelming mental pressure of society. He had experienced the powerlessness of an ordinary person, exhausted from overwork yet still having to prevent getting laid off, despite desperately wishing for death. While society preached freedom and equality, the ever-present class divisions and meager wages had imprisoned his body and spirit.

That's why coming to the DC Universe was a stroke of luck, and having the chance to chase after the power of the stars in DC was another stroke of luck.

He deeply understood his own weakness and powerlessness, so the unwavering determination that emerged after his journey through time and space was unshakeable.

H'el had never doubted his future; he was destined to shine brilliantly and stand tall in the cosmos. The experiences and mental fortitude developed over two lifetimes had molded his will into something as unyielding as bedrock.

Given that he had the ability to traverse countless worlds and draw nourishment from them, why had he fallen into into doubt and madness when he reached the limit of the Kryptonian body?

There seemed to be something mystical, irrational happening to him.

"Is my willpower as weak as that?" H'el's gaze shifted subtly to his right hand. His five fingers curled lightly into a fist, the veins on his arm bulging as he tightened his grip, and then slowly relaxed it. The palm of his hand displayed intricate patterns of lines, crisscrossing each other.

He had complete control over his physical body, with no gaps whatsoever.
