The morning after their successful mission, Amane and Mihuru, along with their families, gathered for breakfast. A light-hearted atmosphere enveloped the room as they enjoyed a moment of calm and togetherness.
Amane, ever the playful husband, couldn't resist teasing Mihuru. He flashed her a mischievous grin, and she responded with a playful roll of her eyes.
However, the peaceful ambiance was suddenly interrupted by breaking news on the television. The anchor's voice filled the room, reporting on the ship that had mysteriously burned down the night before.
Amane couldn't help but smirk, and everyone's attention turned to Izumi, the son of the legendary Amane, who had taken part in the mission alongside Fuji and Itsuki.
Their unspoken acknowledgment of Izumi's involvement in the mission was a testament to the strong bond between this family, united by love and a shared sense of justice.
Shuuto, Amane's father, spoke up with a stern tone, "Izumi, do you have any idea how dangerous that mission was? You should have informed us."
Shihoko, Amane's mother, chimed in, "It's not something a teenager should be involved in. You could have been hurt."
Jake, Mihuru's father, added his voice to the chorus, "You should have thought about your family's worries."
Amane, however, couldn't help but grin proudly at his son. "Well, Izumi, it seems you've got some explaining to do."
Amidst the scolding, Amane couldn't hide his pride for his son's courage and determination.
Mihuru couldn't contain her frustration. She directed her stern gaze first at Amane, who had an uncanny knack for getting involved in dangerous situations. Then, her gaze shifted to Izumi, who had clearly inherited his father's penchant for risking it all.
Mihuru (firmly): "Honestly, both of you! Amane, it's bad enough that you get yourself into these situations, but Izumi, you should know better! You're just a teenager."
Amane (with a sheepish grin): "Well, you know, Mihuru, like father, like son."
Mihuru couldn't help but roll her eyes at Amane's cheeky response, but deep down, she couldn't deny that their shared sense of adventure was one of the things she loved about them.
Izumi, realizing that his mother was still upset, placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, offering her a comforting smile. However, Mihuru continued to scold him for his risky behavior.
Izumi (softly): "Mom, I promise I'll be more careful next time. I didn't mean to worry you."
Amane, seeing that Mihuru was still upset, decided to interject with his playful charm.
Amane (winking at Mihuru): "Come on, Mihuru, don't be too hard on our boy. He's got a bit of his old man's spirit in him, that's all."
Mihuru, despite her irritation, couldn't help but smile at Amane's charm, and her anger began to dissipate.
Mihuru (softening): "Fine, but both of you need to promise me that you'll think twice before jumping into dangerous situations."
Amane (grinning): "Promise, my love. We'll be more careful."
Chitose, upon seeing the news about the ship incident, couldn't help but scold Itsuki for being involved in such dangerous situations. She was genuinely worried for him.
Chitose (concerned): "Itsuki, why do you always get yourself into these dangerous situations? You have a family to think about!"
Itsuki, who was well-versed in the art of flirting and knowing just how to make Chitose flustered, decided to turn on his charm.
Itsuki (grinning): "Come on, my dear Chitose, you know I always manage to find my way back to you. Besides, I can't resist the thrill of adventure, just like in the old days."
Chitose blushed at his words, torn between scolding him and being charmed by his playful demeanor.
Chitose (blushing): "You... you better promise me you'll be more careful next time!"
Itsuki (winking): "I promise, my love. I'll always come back to you, no matter what."
Their playful banter eased the tension, and Chitose couldn't stay mad at her adventurous husband for long.
