Chương 28: A song I made just for you
With the aid of Fang Mingquan the fame of the echo geckos spread faster than it should have throughout the alliance with several other companies calling for all sorts of reason.
Bian being the responsible sort left this work for manager Bo. After all he had no experience in dealing with negotiations and sponsorship. And even if he did he definitely didn't have the time.
He created one of his favourite songs using the plethora of musical equipments present in the Echo Geckos HQ before returning back to alliance central military academy.
There he met Han Yan and told her about the music company he owns echo geckos. Bian would get eighty percent of all funds acquired by the organization.
"So you went to meet some girls to sing together" Han Yan said mischievously.
Although she wasn't really jealous, Bian's response would determine his near future.
"Actually all the music they produce is for the alliance to listen to but I made a private one just for the two of us" Bian said with a persuasive voice.
"Really then let's listen to it" the feeling of special treatment remained one of the best ways to show love.
"Not here, let's go out" Bian had something even more special in mind. He wanted to create the perfect atmosphere to complement the music, turning it into a memory they would cherish forever. With a confident smile, he extended an invitation for a date, one that would take them far beyond the confines of the planet.
Most ordinary people wouldn't notice Bian's right arm unless they were fighters or had keen senses. Jadeskin kept his bone fragments from causing further damage or pain to him.
Coupled with the fact that this music was only for the two of them Bian rented out a space cruiser
Space travel was a luxury reserved for the privileged, and though Bian couldn't afford to buy a spaceship right now, he could certainly rent one for the occasion. The plan was to cruise through the cosmos, creating a backdrop of endless stars and breathtaking views.
He went to the space cruiser he had rented out. The space cruiser would do as it name entailed and go for a flight through space, although it would not be as spectacular as the ship Professor Min owned. Bian planned to buy his own ship to take Han Yan round the cosmos one day.
The two of them boarded the space cruiser and zoomed off into space, after reaching a nebula of red gasses the space ship went into cruise mode and drifted slowly.
Bian amplified the moment by playing the music he had created and reverbed to sound like the original.
In the depths of the sea of stars a space ship slowly moved through a nebula. Manufactured for the purpose of sightseeing it had a large area covered with fortified glass.
The rows upon rows of seats were empty as two people sat in front and looked through the wonderful nebula they were going through.
In the background a peculiar mix of music played. 'The perfect dark weather'. The air conditioning was set to the lowest temperature, although both Han Yan and Bian practiced Jadeskin they didn't out rightly reject the cold. Instead Bian summoned a beast soul blanket and cuddled up with Han Yan as they both covered themselves under this blanket.
With the mysterious scene of space a special music made and the warmth provided by each other Bian and Han Yan lay in each other's embrace.
No word spoken, no action taken.
After an indefinite amount of time the space cruiser sped up and returned back to alliance central military academy.
"So how was it" honestly the warmth he felt while being near her set his heart at peace. All his worries about the future faded with his determination ever increasing. 'I will make you happy' Bian silently swore to himself. Even he wasn't sure from where these feelings came.
"It was perfect" Han Yan said with a smile, the atmosphere seemed to be right.
Bian moved in a little closer but then the space shuttle opened up and Ouyang Ming's voice could be clearly heard.
"Just trust me it will work out" he said convincingly to An Luofeng and Xue Wen.
Just as they were about to enter the main deck a shadow flashed past them quickly.
An Luofeng and Xue Wen didn't expect it so they didn't see who ran past them but Ouyang Ming with his vulture like eyes saw her figure very clearly.
'Han Yan, did she rent the space cruiser' Ouyang Ming thought to himself.
"Bian, is that you" An Luofeng said surprised bringing everyone's attention back to the front.
'Fucking third wheelers' Bian responded with a smile "Hey long time no see."
An luofeng smiled coldly, he had been moved aside by professor Min for Bian. He moved towards Bian and stretched forth his right arm for a handshake.
Bian's face instantly darkened.
"Oops I forgot" Before An Luofeng could finish his sentence Bian's left fist came towards his face with astonishing agility.
A shadow flashed by and Bian found his arm held back by Ouyang Ming, his vulture like eyes glowing. "Sorry about that he has a bit of a grudge"
Ouyang Ming zoomed by again and knocked out, An Luofeng who was planning to strike Bian's back. He gave him over to Xue Wen who had been standing silently and looking at Bian weirdly.
"Thankfully we didn't damage the space cruiser, since you're here why don't you stay. Actually we..." Ouyang Ming was cut short by Bian.
"Don't tell me, I don't want to get involved" Bian said, irritation evidence in his voice. He walked away from Ouyang Ming and went to his room in the dormitory.
Since the three of them left, they hadn't returned in months. He had the room all to himself Manager Bo would occasionally give him feedback on how things were over at Echo Geckos.
In a flash it had been months of doing nothing but reading even more books, the Saints Hall trained him in the language of the crystallizers which was no easy feat to learn. He had to give it his all to successfully understand the base language of the crystallizers.
"So the Demigod will come fix my arm next month right?" Bian asked Bai Yishan who responded with a nod.
Professor Bai collected some data about heresy mantra from him before upgrading the task he would have to cover.
Bian looked at the proverbial mountain of work before him and sighed.
"Are you the one checking the validity" Bian asked as he was getting bored of tests and reading.
"No, I don't know the crystallizer language. I specialize in hyper geno arts and martial arts" professor Bai said frankly.
After clearing out everything needed, Bian went to the sanctuaries. He left steel armor shelter and went to the waterfall, he dived in and went through the passage into the underwater cave.
The manticore knew of his approach so it didn't turn him into a sieve, with the aid of the manticore they moved the osmium block over the entrance of the pit.
Luckily if Bian transformed to the giant golden tiger, his arm would be normal again until he transformed back. He saw the black fanged snake, present and still as lively as ever.
Its scales had turned completely black and its eyes glowed an eerie purple, he stabbed the aperture in its head.
