Chương 4: []Chapter four: The cake formation
It became clear that I couldn't remove soil to create holes for ambushes, as the soil was too delicate. However, I could lift parts of the ground, albeit at the cost of reducing the overall area. The dungeon's size was stated as 120, although I wasn't entirely sure how it worked. By lifting something, the size of the area would decrease slightly. Through comparison with my own height, I estimated the lifting power to be a little higher than my own size about three feets.
"Alright, let's go with a formation like a cake," I decided.
Using the dungeon function settings, I uplifted the area where the slimes and I stood, shaping it into a round circle as accurately as possible. The circle was of moderate size, not too big nor too small. As I lifted the area, the water receded and formed a ring surrounding us on the lower ground.
I then lifted the edges of the circle, creating a small plate-like structure. I repeated this process multiple times, lifting the circle again and again, forming layers akin to a cake. With each uplift, the size of the area reduced, and I could see the back walls of the dungeon closing in on us.
Checking the dungeon map, I confirmed that the area had reduced from 120 to 40. A significant reduction in size had been achieved.
" four layers should be enough right?" I thought and gazed at them through the dungeon lord function.
" Yes it's done now I have to put them in every section"
I thought and gazed at the two named slimes gazing at me with there big eyes waiting for there kings command.
I already decided to make four groups each consisting each types of slimes by making the named one there general or something.
" Ah I should have named a slime knight instead of a poison slime first" I thought as they number of knight slimes are four and poison slimes are only 2 of them.
"Well my mp will Regen by 1 each hour so i will be able to name them"
" Ok I will think about that later, But first let's name each layers first" I thought and was about to speak but then realized naming each layer will make my tragedy more complicated and moreover the slimes aren't that intelligent.
"My fellow comrades listen up! The bottom layer will be called 3rd layer the layer above it will be called 2nd layer. The layer blow ours is called 1st layer. And the top is called king layer. Did everyone understood?"
I waited patiently as I was worried as even this simple instructions might be too hard for them. I also realized the named slimes intelligent somewhat increased as there emotions become more clear.
Thankfully all of them understood and noded there heads in union after the violet and scarlet said something to them.
I nodded in satisfaction.
" Ok you may disparse, I will make our training method" I said and soon all of em left hoping around the formation. Some even directly splashed in the water. And started swimming swiftly like fish. I can fully understand there emotions as they play around. I also had to urge to dive in. But I know very I can't!.
" Focus kaius!" Saying that to myself I opened the dungeon lord function and looked at there skills.
•Scarlet (red slime): • Fire ball : Cast a Fire ball that inflicts burning damage 0.5 per second and Actual damage 13
cast : 1 Time per battle]
•Violet (purple slime): • Poison ball: Throws a poison ball at the enemy inflicting poison damage of 0.5 for 4 seconds and actual damage of 5.
cast : 2 times per battle ]
•Brown slime: • Earth Arrow: Can conjure a arrow and attack the enemy causing 4 damage and 1 second of incapablity.
cast : 1 Time per battle ]
•Blue slime : • protection: Can cast a Barrier which endures 5 Damage before breaking.
cast : 1 Time per battle]
•Black slime:•Fragile Defense: This curse weakens the target's defensive capabilities, reducing defense by 60%.
Restrictions: Target shouldn't be 2 levels higher than the caster.
One level higher mobs have a 40% success rate.
And below caster level, it's a 90% success rate.

" Hmm, Three long range. one defensive one and a curse type. Total of five types of slimes"
" It's clear that Slime knights will be in Frontline" I Muttered and more I gazed at the skill descriptions the formations started forming in my mind.
" Slime knights will be in Frontlines,
Black slime will stay by me for, As she can only attack one time."
" Okk two of them done now for red slimes and purple slimes and the brown slimes."
I muttered to myself.
" Ahh! It's nerv racking!"
" let's think about this later, Let's test there skill range and skill powers first before doing anything for now"
I gazed at the time countdown. I was kinda shocked seeing unknowingly a whole hour passed by just like that!

" I have to speed up," He thought as he very well know and can see many things he have to work one.
The more he realized the more he understood his cake formations can be improved even more.
" I have use that infinity fixed amount of water source more wisely" I muttered and gazed at scarlet who was bouncing on the 3rd layer and splashing water on each other.
" Steam can be made,But it will cost a attack. Which isn't wise. Thus leaving me with one option. Using the water source as a traveling method". I muttered and gazed at the slimes swimming swiftly circling around the formation.
Seeing they are having so much fun. I kinda hasitated to stop there fun or not as I have to move the water.
They giggled in joy as they get to play in water. Seeing this I sighed.
" let it be, Who knows what we might face tomorrow when countdown reaches zero"
And thus I let them play for one whole hour. After that all of them gather beside me. As for me in this hour I already made many ideas and combinations of using the water.
