Since the start of football, there have been a lot of great players whose careers were destroyed by injuries, and then there were those who had their careers destroyed by just one very deadly injury.

Those were the players who could never reach their potential because they were either seriously injury-prone or just unfortunate.

It was every upcoming player's wish to not have their careers marred by injuries and most of them worked really hard to make that possible.

However, there were players who just couldn't get injured that easily, players who could walk away okay after taking the hit of a challenge that would end up tearing the next player's ACL.

Luckily for Manchester City, Merino was one of those players. Most of the fans in the stands, especially United fans expected him to get carried out on a stretcher after a challenge like that but the winger was back on his feet.

He just got some treatment on the pitch and now he was back on his feet.
