Deep within Coldridge prison Minato and Kushina sat in their cells they have been kept in ever since the day they watch their son die in front of them. They had seen the Leaf ninjas who were captured during the second mission that Jiraiya had lead, Hinata, Kiba, Sai, Lee, and Kurenai. They didn't even tried speaking to either of them. There was nothing to talk about, they all felt chakra that's been with them their whole lives just disappearing. They lost and there's nothing that would bring it back.
They also saw Konan in one of the cells. They did wonder what happen to Konan and Madara. Seeing Konan in a cell made them realized what had happen to the pair and only seeing one of them, they quickly figured out what happen to Madara. The others of the group would had died during the invasion or if they didn't are now powerless like everyone else.
Princess Rachel did visited them a few days after the failed invasion. Telling them that all but one ship had escape, the one that was suppose to be the one that Naruto would had been teleported to if the plan had worked out. She told them that both of them are still needed in case they needed information about the Element Countries. But besides that she told them that she is going to see that the ninja way of life as they knew it would be completely gone. She told them how she had taken Naruto as an aide to help her around her lab and how he shared things with her. How much he hated everything to do with the culture of ninjas and the Element Countries in keeping things as they are.
She would miss Naruto as he proved to be a special man who even with his cripple body proved to be stronger then many others. How was Naruto strong, she wouldn't say. All she wanted with them was to tell them what's in store for them. Which is nothing. They would remain in those cells for the rest of their lives, with nothing but what ghosts of their past sins that they brought with them. All the ninja villages would be burn and the lords of the Element Countries and their families would be killed. The ninjas who survive would be nothing but shadows of what they use to be. The whalers would send in chapters into the Element Countries as they have with the Isles to cut down what the crown miss. Many would either give up and those born would only know about what it was like to be a ninja by the stories pasted down. As for them they be forgotten like they never even existed. All because when it mattered, they only saw their son as a tool for the village and didn't acted as they should had. They should had been parents.
And that's all they have to look forward to... forgotten.

The Void -
The Outsider inside the void saw all the events happening. All drawing closer to the final act of his story. What will happen to him depends on who reaches him first. The holy order or the assassin. But what he knows is that after his chapter is done. The door would be open for a new king of the void as it was for him. (1)
