Lythia and Carnelia acted as if they did not see Love bothering Scarlet. They continued eating pockies and watching the television.
Scarlet sighed and shoved a pocky into her mouth. It was not as if Love was heavy. She figured that the goddess would let go when she was tired of comforting her.
She was just grateful that they didn't latch onto the whole wedding desire thing. It had crossed her mind a time or two but that was it.
"I once married a king." Lythia shared.
Scarlet's mouth fell slightly open. She couldn't decide if the topic was worth picking up or not. If Lythia wanted to elaborate, she would, after all, nobody had prompted her to make the revelation.
It was not Lythia that elaborated but Carnelia. The fire goddess laughed and said, "Aah, King Tankun the conqueror. He was the handsome footman of the former king and you gave him wealth, strength and power. He repaid you by stabbing you in the heart and making another his queen."
